[div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 60%; font-family: georgia; font-size: 13pt; text-align: justify;"]He had accepted his terms. There was nothing that could be done to restore his sight. He had taken everything for granted, but he would not wallow in his despair. It was not something he would let render him useless, but it became a burden in a time such as this. Shiro was lost, scents unfamiliar to him as well as the terrain. The wolf was not completely blind, but all he could see were shapes and shadows amidst a white backdrop. He carefully placed a paw in front of another, using his nose and his ears to guide him. After hours, Shiro came to the conclusion he was going in circles. It was easier when he had his pack around to guide him, but circumstances had led him astray from their watchful gaze. Shiro did not need help, but some directions would have been nice. Exhausted, the male miraculously led himself to a shallow puddle of water. He lapped up some of the water before retreating to a mass of brush and vines not far away. Shiro wormed his way into the cave-like mass of branches, his hind paw becoming ensnared in a patch of weeds. The more he pulled and tugged did the weeds grow tighter around his paw. Too tired to do much about it, the canine laid down, deciding to deal with his predicament when he regained his energy.

Onision couldn't understand what it was like to be completely blind, not that the other wolf was, but Oni had lost his right eye in a fight, so you could say his sight was slightly limited compared to others. He was much too young to be receiving such terrible injuries, but Oni didn't care.

He had been taking a long walk to cool himself down when he happened upon a white wolf, his paw ensnared in a bunch of vines and plants. Oni tried to hold back a chuckle of amusement, but it slipped out slightly. "You look like you're having a bit of a problem, man. Do you need some help?" He asked, surprised that he would even offer such a thing to anyone. He barely even acted nice, but this guy looked like he needed a paw or two.

    BASTILLEPRISONER AURELIUS
BY THE GRACE OF THE FIRE AND THE FLAMES
Bastille's issues with vision seemed to be the exact opposite of blindness. There were times when he simply saw too much: when his vision was suddenly overlain with glimpses of the past, flicking memories superimposed on top of the present and corrupting his sense of reality. He of course had Pollie to thank for the slip, but things had changed recently; now he saw his own memories, too, or memories from his other souls, as opposed to just the same sights Pollie had borne. It was... getting better, somewhat. Lessening. That morning his vision was clear, which was just clear enough to spot his Fireball headed for a stranger.

To his relief, Oni was in a better mood, which meant non-aggressive. While Bast wasn't much of a decent greeter himself, he still felt that he could at least try to encourage better manners in Oni. Somewhat. [b]"Yo," he drawled as he stopped beside them, eyeing the... trapped paw boredly, "How do you even get stuck life that?" He didn't sound hostile, just speculative.

Honey, you're familiar, like my mirror years ago, Idealism sits in prison, chivalry fell on his sword, Innocence died screaming; honey, ask me, I should know, I slithered here from Eden just to sit outside your door.   [b][sup]▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃[/sup][/b]

He had grown accustomed to it, the strange blur to the distance given enough familiarity he had learnt to deal with it and had ways to telling things apart when needed, yet all his senses seemed such. Strange was it to move through the world within a dulled experience, unable to fully comprehend it all yet it was all he had known and so he had no grounds to complain, such words never touching his lips.

Harland had taken to the small cluster of trees which bordered the land, preferring the quiet and solitude of such for the constant presence of so much life, of voices fighting to be louder than the next, had grown too much for him to handle outside of a few hours. Yet his was still a face seen about, given to exploration when things got to a point his mind sought something, it was upon such a walk he found the stranger, yet proved hesitant until two familiar faces appeared. Their offering of help drew the kitten closer, creeping forward until he was by Bastille, watching the stranger for a moment.

Slowly he reached out and made to touch the vines which entrapped Shiro, looking towards the other two with a furrowed brow. How did one end in such a predicament and how were they to get him out.
