nui is the epitome of childish youth and jovialty; perfect, bright little teeth, smiling straight in a row and cheeks dimpling with a grin. her optimism is so bright it's almost painful, unnatural, and inhuman. a perfected exterior. masking the rot and the bitterness and the unnatural origions upon heaps of heaps of egotistical disposition.
should one scratch the surface, they'd find her to be cunning and witty-- cheeky when urged and consumed with the need to dominate others. in or outside of battle, she can become a frenzied, excitable thing. her mind tends to wander, and she often exhibits disturbingly zealous behavior. despite her overwhelmingly clueless appearance, she's a frightfully schemeful thing, perceptive and aware though she may not appear it.
though she is earnest in personality, nui is a wolf in sheep's clothing, a darker disposition lying in the depths beneath her bright hearted appearance. akin to monster in wait. a creature who's bones are tinted with malignancy, she harbors cruel tendencies, playfully pursuing her targets with disturbing joy, and at times, a bored demeanor and a nonchalant disregard for the lives of others. the bestial gal finds emotion to be a tedious task; a waste of time; a searing flaw and tends not to bother displaying deeper sentiment towards events or people in lieu of things. she is a free spirit, refusing to be tethered down by the likes of others. much like a feather on the wind, and doing as she pleases, deigning to bow to no one save for her creator.
despite her firmly rooted cheer, there is a breaking point to her act. when she finds herself injured or outmatched, she becomes more frantic and aggressive, dropping all manner of her cheerful demeanor, and becoming far easily more distracted and angered in the face of her opponent. while she is, if at all, rarely affected by verbal taunts, one finds far more luck triggering a deep sense of rooted violence and retaliation from her through frustrating her physically. when angered, her rage is legendary.
in normal circumstances, she's smooth and assured of herself. confident in herself and her abilities, cheeky in nature. it's not uncommon for nui to taunt and tease or even mock while bearing a cheerful demeanor. with her lack of concern for her general health and safety, she is boldfaced and brazen, staring danger down with a gleam in her eyes. there are very few things in this world that can truly set her off or frighten her from the get go, and there are times when the thrill of risk is like a drug to her, and far too intoxicating to bypass situations where she'll know she'll have difficulty in. she is in love with the concept of things that make her actually want to put in the effort to achieve her goal.
deeper still, is an utterly domineering personality. nui takes joy displaying supremacy in extreme scenarios, smashing those she considers to be 'cockroaches' under her metaphorical heel. when in a position of power, she is controlling and demeaning, opting to humiliate those she dislikes, or talk down to others out of spite. while she does not go out of her way to antagonize those who don't deserve it or catch her attention, she is not above harassing others in general, even for the sheer merit of it.
nui tends to act out of self satisfaction and impulse. despite her capacity for trouble, there are times when her mischief is a silent cry for help. years of being raised under the guidance of someone who has seen her as nothing more than a tool has lead the girl prone to craving attention, and her upbringing has stripped away a majority of her sense of autonomy for her own vessel, and despite her antagonistic background, she secretly craves the companionship of others, no matter how small or big within her eye.
