Whenever Kiira's body found some stability, she found other ways to tire herself out.  Usually it involved trying to purposely glitch, with an extremely small amount of success, or running about, as children typically did.  The running about was purposely done rather independently, as the small fox remained skittish around her new clanmates.

The little vixen had a limited resource of energy and a massive attention problem.  It was short.  Resting beneath a tree, Kiira tried to focus on the book she'd found.  She could not remember learning to read, a memory no doubt lost in the locked off parts of her mind, but it felt natural to see letters and make words out of them.  Relaxed her almost, to sit and read.  Except she did not find this book very fun.

This Edgar Allen Poe guy liked writing the creepy and kinda sad.  None of his stories were very happy at all.  Kiira was not sure why it all felt familiar, but she did not like it.  She'd rather read something informal, or fun.

Quietly, the canine grumbled her discontent, even as her tail began ghosting, though Kiira seemed not to notice at all.  Why couldn't she find a fun book?

Usually he could spot feelings of discontent from miles away, so to speak - the way people shifted and squirmed, how they moved backwards slightly, as if to get away from the problem, the expressions on their face, however subtle - most indicators of discomfort were simple. It was very shocking to then see someone (specifically Kiira) who took that one step further, a part of her body actually disappearing, seeming to be incorporeal. It was sort of startling, though not enough to truly boggle his mind. Just a little bit of questioning, a flash of green in his eyes, as he crept up on the young child, preparing to speak.

"Subject Kiira," the arachnid stated, five eyes planted firmly on the spectral tail, looking at it with some confusion. The other three tracked the rest of the environment, including the book - Edgar Allen Poe? Was that one of those human authors that everyone loved? - and the ground she sat upon, before preparing what he meant to say. "Tail, disappearing - normal behavior?"

The urge to poke it for science was very high, he had to say
