— How long had it been since he had gotten out and about to where he could freely waltz around without a care or second thought of what he could be doing? The ginger furred male couldn't place his paw on it, but it really did make him question the last time he could, in fact, do such a thing. His nose twitched as he lifted his head to inhale the sweet scent of morning dew upon what grasses were around, the early morning light bringing a golden glow around the male's body as he stretched - front paws out and rear in the air, tail fluffing as he let out a small mrow at the action. Foxtrot breathes in again, letting yellow eyes draw open before scanning the area curiously as he drops from his pose and instead flops onto his side, tail twitching behind him.

[align=center][div style="width: 470px; font-size:9pt; font-family:calibri; text-align: justify;line-height: 110%; color:black"]Within recent days there had been an influx of joiners, some such as she simply seeking shelter only to find the possibilities found within the floating town held a draw that seemed inescapable while others had heard the news, the visits to each group spreading their presence here. Though Ishayu had done her best to greet each new comer and learn their names it had proven difficult, each day seemingly bringing with it another who sought them for one reason or another.

Accustomed to rising before the sun, for she had taken up the habit of sitting out beneath her little covered porch and enjoying some tea before starting her day, she had been about for an hour or so, enjoying the quiet of the morning. All too soon a restless energy had touched her, however, and she had set about gathering her tools, preparing to spend some time in her forge working on a few little projects. It was during her trek towards the mountain based forge she came across the stranger, her forward momentum stopping some distance away. For a time she merely watched as he seemed to enjoy the morning, laughter spilling from her as he flopped over, finding the act rather cute.

“Hello there, do you have business with Sunhaven?” Moving a little closer she offered Foxtrot a smile yet it never touched those red eyes, strangely devoid of emotion as she watched him, the empty kindness only meant to reassure she meant no harm.

— Foxtrot sits up a bit, fire burning beneath his fur in embarrassment and he gently pulls his tail closer to him, staring shyly at the ground. "Oh... I- Well... I was sort of hoping to join, honestly. I was born here, but ended up leaving with my parents to sort of... Ah, scope the area? Nothing really fit for me, so..." He looks up at the female bashfully, a timid smile on his features, and ears laid back in a submissive position. Despite her showing no means of harming him, the scars that lined his body itched slightly, a reminder of the times he had to endure before he found himself here, at the outskirts of Sunhaven. He was just cautious, which was no problem at all in his book.

"There's nothing to be nervous about, my friend," came the soothing voice of Pierce as he followed after Ishayu. He hadn't been in Sunhaven long, but already he was settling into the clan pretty well- everyone here was pretty nice, and as long as he kept himself busy, he was pretty happy. Or, at least, not thinking about everything that'd been haunting him lately. Honey gaze quickly flicking over Foxtrot's scarred figure, he allowed a gentle smile to tug at his lips. Perhaps he saw himself in the boy- he was nervous, and he'd been hurt before, when he was young. Maybe he was running from his past, looking for a place he could stay and be safe. How much Pierce had been through by the time he'd reached Foxtrot's age- was it possible that the tabby had experienced similar, in his lifetime? "Joining?" he echoed, kind smile remaining upon freckled features. "That shouldn't be a problem- welcome to the clan!" He was pretty sure there wasn't any sort of initiation for this place, anyway. "I'm Pierce. Pierce Parker. What did you say your name was?" He wasn't sure if he had just missed it or if Foxtrot had yet to introduce himself, but he figured he might as well ask just in case.

— And suddenly, there was another figure approaching him. The male's fur bristled slightly, eyes going slightly wider than before and his body language completely screaming danger! danger! He watches Pierce for a moment, throat closing up before he's able to crack a smile. They can't hurt you, they won't hurt you. It's not him. Foxtrot breathes outwardly, closing his eyes a moment to breathe, to calm his uprising anxiety. "Pierce... It's a pleasure. A-And I'm very sorry! I forgot my manners." Foxtrot smiles, trying desperately to be sincere.

"My name is Foxtrot. It's.. A genuine pleasure, really."

Watching, always watching, with her big, owlish eyes; the clouded leopard was neglect of having a careless bone in her body, after all - whether it be in her blood or because of what she was, it was hard to say. "Stellamaris." was all she said, gliding forward.

How the nervous little thing even managed to survive on his own was beyond her. She wondered not unkindly if he would be spooked at the mere shape of his shadow, and then dismissed the thought immediately. "You know the way to the town, I assume?"

Jericho's footfalls are gentle upon the spongy earth, their impressions shallow in the forest's dirt as he pads along.  This place is becoming more and more familiar to him — the mountain's valleys and troughs and all that lies in between.  It's still so vast he fears he'll never know it all by heart, but slowly the landscape has taken shape in his mind and he finds his pawsteps more confident, less cautious.  The tomcat's satchel drags slightly at his side, too big for his tiny frame, and yet he carries on nevertheless.  There always seems to be something to do out here, be it greeting visitors or searching for plants.  Today he is doing the latter, but the sounds of muffled words are carried towards his ears on the summer breeze and the tom pauses in his tracks.  Somehow the former always finds him.  Driven by both a sense of duty and faint interest, Jericho finds himself hobbling towards his clanmates.  He comes to a stop somewhere amongst the three that he knows, but his focus is on the one who he does not.

Though blind, the ginger tabby sees much of himself in the stranger standing before him.  Jericho himself has always been more trusting, less fearful, but they share much hesitant shyness all the same.  A little smile pulls at his lips, gentle and genuinely kind.  Eyes like marigold, albeit blind, flicker until they land in the general direction of the newcomer with warm curiosity.  "Foxtrot... ah, it's nice to meet you," the Helion speaks up after the clouded leopardess.  His tone is similarly reserved, but in a polite sort of way that is sincere yet.  "I-I'm Jericho, by the way."  For a heartbeat the Havener falls silent, his ears pricking and turning towards Stellamaris at her words.  With a slight nod, his attention returns to the newcomer as he adds, "Ah, either way, we can show you around, i-if you'd like."

He was always present when things shifted and changed. In tune to the world around him and he was curious of what was going on now. Despite his strange appearance he attempted to the best of his ability to be as welcoming as possible. After all he wanted others to not be terrified of him and his strange look. Though the shark in him was rather dangerous he controlled himself to the best of his ability and even now as he walked toward the area with a light breath ghosting from his muzzle he was attempting to hold a soft yet closed lipped smile on his lips. His tail waved gently int he air as he approached, webbed paws shifting through the grass that he had walked through so many times before. Sunhaven was becoming more and more familiar by the day and this was no different, paws having touched this ground and many more before that. Flicking his ear lightly he eyed those that had already come around before he noticed the one that was the stranger to him. Well, actually some others were strangers as well and he figured he would remedy that this afternoon. "Hey there, welcome tae Sunhaven! Ya picked the good one tae come back tae then. We missed ya." He allowed a smirk to show part of his rows of teeth before he settled down and dipped his head toward the one whose name he didn't quite catch but that didn't matter to him. "Name's Monroe, at ya services. I'm the fisherman around these parts so if ya need a good salmon or a trout even some clams I'm ya cat...shark thing tae come and see."
