Kaz had decided to take a bit of a stroll, yes that had seemed like a great idea to do just for the sake to breath in some fresh air. It was a early morning on top of that, not having got that much of sleep during the night but that was something he refused to admit to just anyone. The reason was thanks for his dreams, unpleasant nasty ones that keept even someone like himself wide awake at night. So after having grown bored of to simple lay inside of his bed and staring into the wall for hours had decided to get himself outside for some fresh air and exercise. It was a aimless walk really just to collect his thoughts for a bit. Walks had always helpt him a bit to allow some peace to his mind.

It didn't come unoticed for him when someone seemed to follow him though, or maybe there was for some other reason the mysterius person was out here today. Kazumi just know someone was following him a bit behind pulling the vampire out from his thoughts to instead pay attention to this situation that happend to be a bit amusing for the canine. Deciding he wanted to turn around on the tables, to catch the other of guard instead would out of the blue rush towards a bush to jump into it, all to shelter his form to from there keep himself in the shadows as he stalked around trying to found out who had followed him out here, or simple unkowingly was following. Whichever it could be. He supposed he would found that one out soon.

It was good Cronas didn't get attached to others quickly, they thought. They saw others shed tears and grow upset when another person they cared about leaves them. It looked painful and it wasn't something they particularly cared for learning about. It was odd, even to them, to come across something they're not eager to understand. Cronas wasn't sure of their life nor what they were suppose to do with it. Things like having a purpose was incomprehensible to them to the point where they decided not to think about it a whole lot as they discovered many times it leads them nowhere. All they knew is they knew nothing and needed to learn everything they possibly could while blood still coursed through their body and their chest rose and fell with every breath. Having another individual in their life was bothersome and inconveniencing. They liked speaking with others and being taught a multitude of things, but that was it; no strings attached. A mother, father, sister, brother, friend... These words held no meaning to them. Was it lonely? Possibly. They don't know what it's like to be lonely since all they ever had was themselves. Many sleepless nights allowed them to think about who they are as an individual and on each occasion, they drew a blank. The only thing they knew of themselves is their name. Cronas. Who gave them this name? They didn't know but it felt right. It was... nice having at least one constant thing in their life.

The child didn't mean to stalk him but they couldn't help their curiosity. He was a new face and Cronas wanted to introduce themselves. The canine's stride was much larger than theirs and the Privateer's tread never goes above a leisurely walk. And why should they run or trot? It doesn't change the destination and walking slow allows them to better take in the scenery. Albeit, because of their casual pace, the distance between the two remained the same. They also knew if they called out, their quiet monotone voice isn't going to reach him. They were in quite the predicament but there wasn't anything that could be done. At least, that's what they thought. Vacant baby blue eyes blinked once as they stopped in their tracks. Kazumi's sudden movements throwing them off-guard for a second before they continued towards the bush he disappeared behind. Were they playing Hide-and-Seek now? Cronas heard it was a game where you'd hide and someone tries to find you. It seemed like a waste of time so they swiftly dismissed it. But the least Kazumi could do it tell them he wanted to play a game. Perhaps they could have picked a different game that they both enjoy.

Small grey paws carried their lithe form before the bush. Tilting their head to the side, they looked in before calling out. "H-hello?" Is he alright? Cronas wondered why they sprinted into the bush like that. "Cronas wants to know if their crewmate is alright? Does their crewmate have a bellyache? Would Cronas' crewmate like for them to fetch a medic?" They spoke, unaware the canine was no longer in that spot.

Attachment was not exactly something that Kazumi valued. He could pretend to be someone's friend, that he cared but in truth when he no longer found a use to have them simple throw them of to the side when he was done with them. Caring for others was not exactly his thing, not in that sentence. If he 'cared' for someone it was more that he found them as an enjoyable toy, you know when founding that special toy that was impossible to throw away?, that always sleept beside you in the bed?. That was the sort of 'attachment' he could feel towards others. Not yet done with them, to be unable to throw them away just yet. Eventually though that day would come, it always did in one or an other way because in the end that was all people was for him. Toys, puppets, players to his chessboard. No use to get to attached to them. Kazumi wouldn't allow himself to.

Kids had always been a interesting subject for him to observe and follow. They seemed to be living in a different world as young until the adulthood changed them to see the world for what it really was. But this one though. Kaz could tell something was off with him straight away but didn't know what it was. That interested him, growing curious over this one child as he stood in the shadows to watch him as he called out for him in that bush he not even was in anymore. A smirk was briefly present, it was short lived before the vampire suddenly made his move. Sprinting right up behind the other child as he attempted to catch the other of guard and pin him towards the ground.

Didn't matter much if he had succeeded or not since he was most curious over how the child would react to this all of the suddenly being attacked from behind. The vampire would then smirk, a sly one as he studied this kid with a slow burning curiosity. " Well hello there kiddo. I'm quite fine actually, more curious over why ya where following me. Haven't ya mother told ya to not follow strangers?. Ya never know who is a wolf or not." he told him slyly with a shark look. Clanmates was not valued in his eyes. If he was in the mood for it could easily kill one for a bit of a snatch. It all depanded on if they would bore him or not. His behavior could be quite unpredicable.
