  They had been watching this small group for a while. It was brand new, consisting of just a few people. It was sad. It evoked her weakness: empathy. The small creature whisked together a physical form. Something akin to a kitten. They had black stripes on a white body. One of their eyes was scratched out, a scar covering it. Perhaps it was for the best that one stayed closed for a while. Curled horns wrapped around their head and ears, brushing her cheek fuzz.

  Lumi took a step forward towards the border. She's watched this land long enough to know their traditions. Wait for someone to accept her into the hive. Simple enough. She was patient. A bout routy and bored, but patient. She shut her eyes, tail swishing in lazy energy. Patient she is.

Videogames, personally, isn't sure how 'brand new' he would consider Moonlight Vale. Perhaps this is because he's been living here for his whole life, and, until recently, it simply didn't have a name or a hierarchy beyond 'heres the the leader, and oh, here's the kid he's training to take his place'. Being leader was .. still rather strange to him, even as Videogames is doing his damnedest to make everything work when there's only a handful of members he sees around frequently enough. Though .. they've been getting joiners, recently. Wasn't that strange? Joiners. They'd inducted people in sometimes, but that was all.
"Hey. What're you doing out here?" Videogames' voice is warm. He's not sure how he'd ended up at the border, but Videogames always finds himself gently nudged over to the border when there were people there. .. Anyways. Videogames could ask why Lumi is out here alone, because that's a kid, but .. well, there's no need forcing people to explain when they probably won't want to, see? Uh -- should he introduce himself, though? Ask anything else? .. Videogames isn't sure, but he decides against it anyways. It'd sound awkward.

She had done her challenge to climb to the mountain and she'd come back without any injuries- which was a good thing.

The Royal Guard strolled up to the scene, taking a seat beside Videogames as they awaited Lumi to answer the King's question.
