Where had she been? She had gone back to a place that she had once called home and well, she had taken the time to get herself reacquainted to the palace as her tail would brush over things that could be considered artifacts. Her paws brushed over a few of the items there only to find the mirror she had broken a long time ago, the day she had seen first met and seen Amun though she shook her head proceeding to walk some more taking a few of the items into her talons before she found a small golden ring with her initials on it. She stared at it for a brief moment only to feel a flutter in her belly and her heart starting to ache, she realized that she was missing her true home. Where her heart had finally settled down not here, in a palace probably deceased to the world. So without much hesitance, she picked a few more items only to hold the ring in her talons carefully having gathered anything flammable and set it in front of the palace. She would set it on fire only to chuck the ring into the hungry flames, she watched with her pupilless gaze before she turned around spreading her wings to fly home. Home.

She could feel the marsh underneath her and feel the cool mud pressing into her golden talons, the golden beast would then make her way through the trees with a few items held in her paws, just a few sashes that she wanted to give her daughters. That was all. But she had unspoken words she wished to tell Fenris, she finally entered camp with both rounded ears angled forward, a bit of soot clinging onto her fur and the smell of fire still prominent on her coat, she didn't seem to mind it at all since it reminded her of a specific individual whom she loved with all her heart. She set the things down to the side only to twitch her whiskers finding a light smile on her maw seeing someone slither up to her "Moses," She uttered as he slithered up her leg only to coil himself around her neck fluff if snakes were able to purr then Moses would certainly be doing it.

She took a deep breath only to finally call out "Fen, could you come here for a moment?" Was it the right time? Hell, if she knew but she knew what she wanted and how she wished to spend the rest of her life or so who she wished to spend the rest of her life with yet that she hoped would be in the future. Just the thought of it made her stomach flutter even more.

s when those long ears caught that familiar voice again, the regent had perked up and immediately come wondering away from his previous task towards her, a smile on his features as he beheld the familiar golden form and he dipped his head "Amunet, its so good to see you" the relieved and fond note in his tone was evident before he inclined his head usually cold eyes tinged with warmth and query.

The moment she saw him, she could feel her heart racing inside of her chest as she looked at him with her own warm gaze before she stepped forward to hug him. She would then step back still smiling fondly at War and sighed quietly "And it is good to see you as well, dear. It is good to be home once more," Her eyes would shift to the side for a moment only to slip her paws forward to try and take Fen's talons into her own with a warm smile still evident on her maw as she tried piecing this together in her head of what she would say only to open her mouth briefly closing it once more until she got a general idea of what to say "Fenris, over these past few months I've gained a lot of feelings for you and I have been harboring them since. I was wondering if you'd like to go out with me? As in a relationship between the two of us," Was that right? She hoped so, she truly hoped that Fen felt the same way maybe those small brushes against one another were simply friendly and not affectionate but she wouldn't know until Fen answered her.

malphas loathed amunet and fenris. amunet was some bitch who thought she was holier than thou because she was some god of victory or whatever, and even looked like a fucking golden prostitute. fenris was so giant it was comical, and his ego matched his large size. gods or whatever, malphas thought they were idiots, ruining the good tanglewood bloodline with their disgusting god presence. if they could both claim to be gods, then fuck it- malphas was the god of alcohol and cannibalism.

he heard them and walked over, rolling his eyes. "get a room. don't do this shit in public. i'm gonna hurl," he commented idly, not even focusing on them but instead popping open a beer bottle with his teeth.

Victory goddess, eh? If it weren't for everything else she'd experienced here, Arrow would have doubted that. But apparently she was breaking out of her simple little mind that she had during her days as a loner, where everything was very black and white, very blunt and straightforward. No gods or powers or falling out of the sky. Not that she despised any of this, cue Malphas, but she wasn't at the point where it felt "normal" or at the very least she wasn't desensitized.

She snickered a bit at Malphas' disdain, speak of the devil. This was sweet and all, but he was funny and she was drawn
more to that than lovey dovey stuff. "Not a fan, huh?" Arrow's gaze would shift between Malphas and Amunet, head tilting. You know, she never actually met this girl.

Amunet? Amunet?! AMUNET!! There it was, the dog brain again. Ivan rushed over, practically knocking over Malphas and Arrow along the way. He didn’t care what was going on, but Amunet was back! He had so much to tell her about! He was a Christian again and he was getting an idea of who he used to be and oh he couldn’t wait.
He skidded to a halt before the goddess, still dirty as ever and rolled onto his side, tail wagging.

malphas was knocked out of the way and instantly gritted his teeth, unsheathing his claws and digging them into the earth, resisting the urge to charge and take out the bear dog himself. he realized that was a suicide mission, and he remained. he relaxed once he realized he could point out a fallacy in zima's beliefs.

"hey, zima," he started, a twisted grin appearing on his face. "you know... you're a christian, right?" he was familiar with the religion, as it was what his parents had believed in. he had it drilled it into his head and when he left he denounced religion forever, but christianity he was the most familiar with. "in christianity, there's a set of ten rules. you might know em'. they're called the ten commandments. you know what the first- and probably intended to be the most important one is?" he paused. "you shall have no other gods but me. amunet's a god, right? her existence invalidates your religion. either she can exist or your god can exist. either she's a god and your god isn't, or she's no god at all. what do you think?" he asked, wondering what his response would be.

"I, I would love to" was said at first haltingly and then softly with a brilliant smile - heart full to bursting and he himself almost bowled over - inwardly perhaps panicking slightly though he'd never admit it because shehadfeelingsforhim! him! - and moved to embrace her with wonder.

of course he halted slightly when Zima came rushing in, happy to see her back and simply settled for a solemn nod and promise with a smile.

and of course a hugely monumental effort to completely ignore Malphas - someone give the man a medal for that feat - though not even Malphas snide words could darken his mood now.
