There had been a time in her life, maybe an hour ago, that Caecia had been a lazy creature, lounging around outside a hut, but that was before her stomach started to growl, before she decided that she was hungry and that she really wanted food, and even though she knew that she wasn't supposed to eat certain types of food, she wanted certain types of food. So of course, the stubborn lioness was going to go out on her own little adventure and get whatever it is she wanted, even if it killed her. Which it was very likely to do if she ate too much. But she'd be careful. Maybe.

Having been walking around for about an hour or so now, the child tilted her head slightly to the side as she smelled something cooking inside someone else's hut, before there was suddenly a door bursting open and an NPC was outside, calling for anyone who wanted to try some new recipes and Caecia was there in a flash, rounded ears pricked and a smile soon on her maw as she tried some of the desserts that had been made - mostly cheesecakes - before she was swept out the door and heading back to her own hut, tail waving idly behind her.

She was a young vampire, and with as much as she ate it wasn't like she would die, and besides, she could live off of more than blood until she got older, she just really shouldn't eat sweets at all. But that's what she did. She didn't realize her mistake fully until she was almost home when her stomach suddenly had a wave of pain run through it, and the lioness keeled over.

She was always a lively creature, treated and pampered as she was a princess in the past, and a grown and skilled huntress in her later years. She had always known to hunt for herself and her pride, and when she got hungry, she almost honed down like a sharp knife into a focus. But she hadn't ever considered that those who feasted on things besides flesh and plant would take a turn like this.

Deldrach's eyes flickered up as a younger lioness- if she could call her that, she was basically the age of a cub- toppled over. Deldrach watched for a moment, the huffed as she pushed to her paws, lazily padding over. She didn't sense an air of concern until she was much closer, and her steps picked up as the lioness didn't rise- so it wasn't just a stumble that her heterochromic eyes saw. "Oi, kid." She called as she got closer.

Her head dipped down, trying to catch sight of the child's eyes. "You alright? Need me to find a medic?" Deldrach questioned.

The scent of another lion washed over Caecia and although she was close to the ground at this point in time, her eyes still flickered up so that she could see who the other was, so that she could watch to make sure that if they were already going to get help that it was the right member of the clan - that it wasn't her mother, because she was sure that her mother would be worried, and then when it turned out later on that Cae was fine, she'd be pissed, so she didn't want her mother knowing - seeing that the lioness was coming towards her instead of walking away, she would listen to the words that were being said, thinking for a moment, ready to shake her head, because no, she'd be fine, she was tough and didn't need anyone to help her get over this horrible pain, but that was until another wave washed over her, and she quickly nod her head.

"Please." She would murmur out, head nodding at last, ears finally pinning to her head as she snapped her eyes shut. "Don't let my mom know though, please please please." Her mom could know later, when there wasn't a chance for her to be worried then pissed.

That was key, but Deldrach didn't let the relief- nor worry- show on her poised face, perfectly cold and distant, just as it had been when she joined. "Probably a bad time to mention it, but I have no idea who the medic is." Deldrach replied, deadpan. "I can carry you somewhere- if you tell me where to go, of course." Deldrach eyed the child's scruff.

The thought of letting a stranger that didn't know where she was going lead her to the soothsayers was something that she wasn't fond of, but at the moment it was the only option that she had. Nodding her head, Caecia would swallow once before speaking again, trying her best to remain audible. "Rosemary o-or Sol or Jacob could be around here somewhere, around the bay." She would speak, tail flicking once before sniffing, "I don't know which hut is theirs, but they could be around her somewhere."

"No need to move her, I'm here," the ocelot's raspy voice called out, words carried more by the wind than her lungs. With her usual herb-scented satchel by her side, she quickly darted to Caecia's with a puzzled expression. She certainly could tell by the cub's aura that she felt pain - physical, as well as something that almost seemed like embarrassment - but that ended the useful information she could gather. Besides, with the child's face painted in agony, her additional abilities seemed quite useless at the moment. "Can you describe the pain? What were you doing before it struck?" the pale wildcat asked, unaware that Caecia inadvertently caused her own suffering and knew the cause.

At the sight of the other, slight relief washed over the female, though her relief didn't last very long. "I ate food. Not 'sposed to eat food, only red meat and blood." The child would respond, embarrassment washing over her once more as soon as she had done so. Was there anything that anyone would actually know what to do here, or would someone else that was also a vampire have to come over as well? She hoped that Rosemary would be able to help but there was no telling.

The ocelot's ears flicked - that seemed a bit of a stretch, as she thought most vampires around were located in the Ascendants. Still, she supposed it was lucky that the child could identify it; the vampire mutation causing this stomachache certainly wouldn't have been her first guess. "Ah, well if you just ate something you're basically allergic to, then you'll just need to throw it up and then rest a bit," Rosemary responded, trying to sound encouraging - but with her apathetic, fuzzy tone not much managed to break through. Turning her attention to her bag, she ruffled around a few different tin containers before she plucked one out and popped it open.

Handing the child a pawful of the plant, she instructed, "Now, you're going to need to eat this. It'll make you vomit, but - trust me - you'll want to get it out of your system as soon as possible, so go ahead and start munching on it." Squinting, she looked closer at Caecia's face, but couldn't see any indications for other allergy symptoms. So, she guessed, once the cub took a nap after vomiting it out, she'd be fine.

Why was it whenever Caecia wanted to have something it was actually impossible for her to have it? She just wanted to have something that tasted good for once, but now she was going to have to expel that from her own body? She wouldn't let her own disappointment show, but disappointment in herself and disappointment in the fact that she has to actually embarrass herself in front of the others that she lived with. "Okay." She would manage out, reaching for the herb that was offered to her bringing it close to her maw to start munching on it, already gagging on the taste - it was not good.

It wasn't very long before the small portions of cheesecake she had eaten were out from her body - thankfully away from the paws of her clanmates - and on the ground.

She watched with concern as the child vomited, sympathizing with how awful the process was. But, Rosemary also knew this remained her best option, so she simply watched to make sure that nothing went disastrously wrong. When Caecia seemed finished, she attempted to press the tips of her forked tail to the cub's back in support. "How do you feel now?" she asked, a bit hopeful that this ended the child's suffering.
