[Dimitri]

He was losing his mind.
The ground had formed into a warped U-shape and tripped him up. Dimitri stumbled out of his house and hit the snow. It made it all so much worse. "Snow.... it’s cold..." not real enough. Who was he? Where was he? Was anything real? Dimitri looked at his paws, watching them shift back and forth, as if his cells were unstable and couldn’t form himself.

There was darkness, laughter- he tried to stand up as he saw the face of Awziwa laugh at him and chomp his teeth. Dimitri felt his fur, trying to give it a name and a texture-

He was floating away. Who was he? Who were they? "Guys...." He was freaking out. He drug his paws through the cold snow. It stung and he couldn’t give it a name or a feeling- he couldn’t give anything a feeling. A texture. Something to affirm to him the world was real and that he was okay and that he wasn’t out of his fucking mind-

He screamed.

"speech"

Dimitri's scream is what made Atbash burst out of her cabin so roughly, with her ears pricked and her eyes showing her alarm. "Dimitri?" She yelled out, though of course she wasn't close enough right now for him to hear her. No, his cabin was more isolated than the others. Damn him! If he was closer, then maybe whatever was happening to him could be avoided. Her group's safety was on her, she should've made sure Dimitri made home closer to everybody else. Atbash took off towards where Dimitri's cabin was, and found him outside, and rushed to his side as quickly as she could. "Dimitri, hey!" She tried calling out to him again, trying to gently place a paw on his shoulder to try and comfort him.

The sudden screaming startled him slightly, his head whipping around. He had been out in the territory when it came, and he quickly sprung into action, racing towards the sound. He pushed away the unpleasant memories that forced themselves towards the front of his mind, instead putting his attention into the situation at hand. Dwelling on the past wouldn't do anyone any good at the moment. Slowing as he approached the two, he regarded them both with his usual stern stare, eyes ringed in faint red.

He turns to Atbash, holding a paw out to her. "Give him some space," he orders, then looks over towards the tom, knowing what he had to do but also not sure if he could do it effectively. "Dimitri, it's alright. You're fine. Focus on your surroundings,"

Dimitri’s eyes shifted about his clan mates, the were blurring out to him and he felt his brain being pulled away. He felt the cold snow on the body and his ears flickered back at the sight of the lion. The eyes, beginning to change color, the Shapeshifting of Dimitri’s body making oblong shapes and bumps and other horrors- like he couldn’t decide what he was. His form moved, and Dimitri reached out to Aizawa, aiming to grab the lion’s paw and feel it paws coasted over huge claws and felt their prick. He felt the fur, the rough paw pads, and it was his confirmation that it was real.
He hoped it was.
The more Dimitri did this, his breath slowed and he sat staring, touching to keep himself grounded.
