her new powers were...different. she quite honestly did not know how to feel about them. she knew her papa had the same powers, so that made her feel kind of happy. she liked her papa! she liked the thought of being like him. well, maybe not totally like him. but the parts that she did like, at least. and, they were cool! she could shoot lightning right from her paws!! that's awesome. but, the biggest problem was that she had no idea how to use them. usually it wasn't a problem because they didn't usually try to come up on their own. that was, until she got wet.
whenever she got wet, the electricity flowed through her body and caused her bandaged injuries to glow a light yellow and blue color. whenever this happened, she needed to find a place to release it, quickly. otherwise she'd send sparks flying everywhere, similar to when she had first returned after being struck by lightning. she didn't want to potentially damage anything or hurt anyone, so she avoided this at all costs. although, it was a bit hard to do with her injuries. most of the time she just tried to stay shelter. but, with the tsunami, that was harder to do, too.
this was what had lead her up to this point. she was getting rained on. very lightly, but still causing her to be wet nonetheless. she quickly pushed herself to a more remote part of the lands, her legs quivering from the movement. when she had found a nice, sheltered spot underneath some trees, she would release it. not all at once, like last time, though. she tried to focus her energy on pushing it out little by little, to avoid starting a fire.

NOTHING'S EVER LOST FOREVER, IT'S JUST HIDING IN THE RECESS OF YOUR MIND AND WHEN YOU NEED IT, IT WILL COME TO YOU AT NIGHT. I MISS THE YELLOW. I MISS THE YELLING AND THE SHAKEDOWN. I'M NOT COMPLAINING, NO, I GOT A BETTER SET OF KNIVES NOW. I MISS MY DRUMMER, MY DEAD STEPBROTHER, AND THE PIT CROWD. AND CHUCK AND MATTY - IF THEY COULD SEE ME THEY'D BE SO PROUD.
