"you didn't happen to fall into a vat of dye Iota?" a slightly bemused voice called over from where Fenris emerged from his home - looking slightly tired and scented faintly of metal and fire but then he had been working lately on his own projects much like Iota's preparations.

Padding closer, he inclined his head with a hum "certainly a change from pink to blue - are you alright?" he knew it was her like he knew if it was any of his clanmates, aura's didn't lie even if the hibiscus and unchanged form didn't already give it away - but the follow up question was raised with concern after all, some didn't like change or found it frightening and ever the overly concerned mother hen he'd felt complete to ask.

"would you look at that. clan funnyman. what a comedian." malphas said flatly, looking at fenris while he made his way over to the two. iota was an alright person... but why the fuck was she blue? "you looked better in pink," he coughed out, but in reality he didn't care what pastel color iota decided she would be. was he envious? he was a boring grey, and in an attempt to look cool, he had even glued little horns to his head. unlike iota, who used to have actual real horns.

"are you a flamingo or some shit? stop eating blue food," he recommended seriously, flicking his tail.

Iota’s pastel pink coloring was, in all honesty, one of her favorite things about Tanglewood. The soft hue was something she never grew tired of looking at, and Iota wore it beautifully. Plus, pink was one of her more favorite colors. Had she known Iota were changing like the seasons, she might have even said goodbye to the color she loved so well.

”Oh, my goodness! Iota! Look how beautiful you are!”

From the newly promoted Firebrand’s words, it was obvious she wasn’t too upset about the color changing. Happily, the young goddess scurried over, observing her friend from head to toe. A gigantic smile plastered itself upon her face as she stood back a few feet to survey it all. ”I can’t believe how pretty you look! And don’t listen to Malphas, he’s just jealous,” she laughed in jest before turning to look at Fenris for backup. ”Right?” Her goofy smile just grew.
