[CAESAR CIPHER.]

Greed. Caesar had been keeping quiet for some time now, but with somebody joining with the name ‘Lust’, he began to be suspicious. Caesar would’ve given Greed a pass with his name, but when Lust joined, the demon couldn’t be silent any longer. He needed to interrogate Greed, learn more about him. Because having a Seven Deadly Sin on his side.

”Greed!” Caesar called, marching to the center of camp. ”We need to talk.”

In the past, Greed had teamed up with people, only because they were useful to his plans. But, of course, Wrath or whoever the hell had to come and kill all his subordinates. Then he died, as well. Or maybe his soul just transferred to a new body. It was hard to kill a sin, after all. Either way, he was determined to get back to achieving his goals. Being in this animal form was just a minor set-back to him.

He's surprised for a moment when his name is suddenly called out. He glances over towards Caesar, a grin making its way onto his face as he pads over to the male, curious as to what he wanted to talk about. "What's up?" he asks with a quirked brow. He was pretty neutral about the guy, so he was eager to see what he had up his sleeve.

That's exactly how Caesar did things: allied himself with people he believed would be helpful to him. Of course, he wouldn't tell them his plans directly, and would only hint at things, or give them tasks to do. Caesar didn't entirely trust his henchmen; what if they used his plan against him? So when he allied himself up with others, he shimmied around what his true plans were and expected others to follow any order he gave.

"You're a Sin." Caesar stated bluntly, as if this entire thing hadn't been obvious. Funny how a demon couldn't recognize a Sin at first glance. "Which means you surely have a reason for being here." In this Dimension, in this group, he meant both. "So why are you here?" He wanted to make sure it didn't interfere with his own plans, mostly.

Greed never really tried to hide his true intentions, which was probably the thing that would lead to his downfall one day. But what he lacked in subtlety he made up for in his smarts. While he had the outward appearance of some boisterous movie villain, he had a few hidden tricks up his sleeve. He was well-prepared should any holes or obstacles appear in his plans.

He quirks an invisible brow at Caesar's choice of words, amused by his observation. He was somewhat correct, of course. While there was a lot to what he was, he wasn't about to disclose all that, both because it would just be time-consuming, and he didn't want such information to spread around. It would be a shame if it were to be put into the wrong person's hands.

"That's right," he says with a nod and a snarky smirk. Then he tilts his head, pursing his lips, a bit unsure how to answer his question. Really, the panther himself wasn't sure what he was doing here. He had known his purpose back in Amestris, but now, he was simply...living, he supposed. Or at least that's what he wanted others to think. "Sorry, but that's a question I don't even know the answer to," he shrugs.

Caesar had a tendency to reveal his plans himself, though it was usually by mistake. He tried not to reveal things too much but sometimes things slip. Unlike Greed, he didn't have tricks up his sleeve. Caesar thought he did, but in truth? He wasn't a sly as he believed he was.

Caesar puffed his chest out at Greed's confirmation, clearly proud of himself. Like having the name 'Greed' wasn't obvious. Though as soon as the panther shot him down, he frowned. "The hell's supposed to mean?" He demanded. "I came to help you, you know." That was a lie, but did Greed have to know that?

Seeing the abrupt change in his attitude was pretty satisfying. Confidence being so suddenly ripped away from somebody was always a nice sight. But Greed's face twisted at his promise of helping him, unsure if he was genuine or not. He definitely didn't strike him as the type to help others. If he was, he wasn't about to turn away the opportunity.

"Hey, now. One moment I was a human, the next I was in this weird panther body. You expect me to believe what the hell I'm doing here?" he says with an unimpressed expression. It probably sounded really weird to the male, but it was the truth. He couldn't really come up with an excuse.

Of course Caesar wasn't being genuine in his offer. No completely, anyway; it was true that he'd be willing to help Greed, if not to twist the plan into his own. So, no, his offer wasn't entirely genuine. The demon's tail twitched at Greed's response, not satisfied with that either. "Just because you're possessing a different body doesn't mean your plans change." He pointed out.
