  [font=trebuchet ms]Of all the surprises to be found in the underground complex, perhaps the most bizarre of them so far was the chest full of dusty scarves she'd found in one of the corridors.

  Rin was perfectly satisfied with the green scarf she was already wearing, but she saw no harm in trying some new ones as well. There weren't any mirrors nearby, so she couldn't get any idea of how ridiculous they might look on her, but she could at least figure out which ones were comfortable and which ones were death traps. Besides, maybe if she removed enough scarves from the container, there would be some other sort of secret artifact underneath.

  She had already deduced that two of the scarves, a small white one and a medium-sized red one, would chafe her neck, so she had tossed those aside. At the moment, she was examining a long black scarf, the material of which felt smooth and lightweight to the touch. Maybe this one could be added to her normal green scarf on particularly cold days...

Luna had already explored most of the territory. Every nook and cranny. She had already seen the odd-looking dusty chest in the Complex but she had decided to leave it alone for somebody else.

The female had approached Rin and noticed she had taken interest in the dusty chest. "Nice scarves." The female said.

  [font=trebuchet ms]The voice ringing out startled Rin into dropping the black scarf and spiraling around. As her eyes settled upon Luna, however, she let out a small sigh of relief. "Sorry, you startled me," she said, flicking an ear. "But thanks, I guess." She wasn't sure why she was so jumpy- maybe she'd developed the habit before losing her memory.

  Actually, this presented the perfect opportunity- especially since there were no mirrors, and no one else was around. "Don't suppose you'd like to try one on?" she asked, picking the black scarf back up and throwing it over her own shoulders. Attempting to wrap the rest of the scarf around her neck, she noted that the scarf's length was long enough to reach the ground even after being wrapped around a few times. Shrugging the material off to leave only her own green scarf on, she added, "Maybe this one will fit better on you. But I'm not really a tailor."

"It's fine. I didn't mean to startle you." Luna said, eyeing the black scarf that Rin had dropped while spiraling around to face her, with a look of amusement in her eyes.

"Hmm, I'll try it on if you don't mind." She said to the other female, after her question and she extended a paw to take the scarf.
