The mind of '???' was empty. Quite simply, nothing. Not a soul to be found. Not an enigma to be solved. Just... nothingness. There may be triggers. Some wild ideas that laid deep inside of their stereotypical intricacies of perception, but other than that, nothing. There was nothing inside their mind. Nothing to do. Nothing to say. NOTHING.
And, yet, they were everything. With a simple command or a nickname assigned to them, wild transformations and complex beings could come to life. They were a tool to be used. An idea to be executed. Perhaps even a beast in the making. Maybe even the best ever seen. No matter what, their abilities led them to be physically everything and anything.
Mentally, though, they were nothing.
Nothing. They were doing quite literally that. Nothing. As The Pitt's desert sand blew in their face, causing their eyes to sting, they did nothing about it. As the salty water shot up their nose while swimming, they did not exhale. As claws raked over their side and teeth shot into their neck, they did not flinch. Something that should bother them did not. Anything was nothing. Nothing was everything. Everything was nothing to them.
Invincible, no. Immortal, maybe. They were to be swayed. Made to be taken advantage of. Made to die repetitively and infinitely, only to get better with each form. Eventually, what would that bring? A monster? A better being? Ultimately, no one knew. They did not know either. Until it happened, no one knew. For now though, it could be anything. Expect everything. Do not anticipate nothing.
With no prospect of the future on their mind or how the world was affecting their every day life, the white serval sat in silence. Not in contemplation. Not a thought. Only a blank stare out across the territory as they sat down by the pyramid's edge. They did not expect anyone to come talk to them, nor did they wish for it, but the prospect of company would be satisfying to any being, wouldn't it?
White paws crossed over one another and their short tail wrapped around their backside. The being sat upright. Their expression remained dull, emotionless. It was an unwelcoming sight, yet someone always came. Whether that be with a command or with a kind greeting, they always did. Control or pleasantry, what shall it be?
