Lunafreya had been wandering around when something unexpected happened. The small roar of some type of reptile. Ears pricked upward, she would look around her surroundings before her gaze shifted to movement in the grass.

A soft chuckle escaped her lips as a small, baby Utahraptor slowly approached her. What it had come from, she didn't have a clue, but he was pretty cute. "Hey there, little one? Are you lost?" At the sound of her voice, the young Dinosaur would run around in circles. "Okay, okay. You can come with me."

The two had made their way back to the Observatory, the little guy had followed Luna there in excitement. How adorable.

Margaery was, admittedly, not very familiar with dinosaurs. She knew of their miraculous existence yes, but all other information concerning them seemingly evaded her. Most of them were highly dangerous anyways and thus, she didn't see learning about them as anything more than a waste of time. That being said, it appeared as if Luna had acquired a new companion of sorts. [color=#b14767]"What  is that?" Inquired the chocolate point smoothly, grey-blue eyes sweeping over the form of utahraptor with vague interest, [color=#b14767]"And where did you find such a thing?"

The Utahraptor would perk up at the sound of Margaery's voice and he would run around the other female in circles in his excitement- earning a soft laugh from Luna.

"I found him in the fields. He must've wandered off from his mother and siblings. Hopefully they won't come looking for him, and he's a Dinosaur, a Utahraptor, I think."

Suiteheart knew a bit about dinosaurs, but not more than simple children's books had taught her. While in the city, she often snuck into libraries to steal books, and she had always been interested in their most ancient ancestors. However, she had never truly followed up on the minute knowledge she had acquired.

Dark eyes looked over the utahraptor, and she noted the small feathers on its forearms. She recalled that this dinosaur had solidified the theory that these reptiles evolved into birds over a long, long period of time. Curiosity burned brightly in her eyes as she watched the young creature. [color=#73B1B7][b]"Yeah, let's hope they don't come. They're pack hunters, I think. And they get pretty fucking huge."

[BASTILLEPAW]

Bastille joined them with a yawn, having spent most of the morning struggling to get a small fire under control. He'd lit a bush on accident on a patrol, and spent the better part of 30 minutes glaring at the spreading flames mutinously as they refused to obey his command. Eventually, he'd simply resorted to summoning water, which had listened to him. He'd also simultaneously brought down a rain storm, which was less than ideal, but whatever. The flames went out, and the rain only lasted for around 15 minutes. So many his demand for water had gone a little out of control, but at this point? Bast would take it.

He eyed the little creature, squinting slightly. Dinosaur? Eh. He wasn't particularly interested in them. (What a shocker.) "He doesn't look particularly threatening this small," he pointed out, "Maybe you can pack bond him or some shit."

Smiling at the little guy, Luna would shake her head in vague amusement. "He shouldn't turn out to be dangerous or a possible harm to our Clanmates if I keep him with me." The Utahraptor would let out a chirp, then hop onto Luna's shoulder.

Lunafreya would look at Bastille, who looked somewhat bored as he approached the scene. "Well, maybe I could teach him how to hunt and catch prey for the group." She suggested.

Margaery couldn't hide her obvious confusion. [color=#b14767]"That doesn't change the fact that they're pack hunters and will probably want their baby back," She said in a low voice, glancing at Suiteheart, [color=#b14767]"And a feral animal is still a feral animal. It could be dangerous." She wasn't too keen on taking any chances, not when she cared so much for the other inhabitants of the Ascendants. [color=#b14767]"You better keep a close watch on that thing," She warned.
