[b][color=gray]"Where... Where am I?"Dark eyes would blink once, twice, three times before they adjusted to the harsh sunlight that now fell over his form, illuminating the steely silvers in his otherwise gray pelt. He would flex his paws tentatively, feeling claws escape and return to their sheathe, before hesitantly stretching out his limbs. This wasn't a body he was familiar with, he knew that much, but as he racked his brain for any semblance of his previous life, he found nothing. It seemed that his mind had somehow succeeded in being scrambled and the young male, slightly distressed at that thought, slid back into a sitting position to ponder his situation.
[color=gray]"Ilijas M.," He murmured contemplatively to himself, idly wondering what on earth the 'M' in his name stood for. Michael? Martin? Morgan? The possibilities were endless and the tom was forced to resign to not knowing. [color=gray]"I perished at the hands of some unknown entity but now I'm back," He continued aloud. There was something else too- the face of a girl who made his heart flutter in his chest. Who... Who was she? And why was she one of the only things he could recall?
Frustrated now, Ilijas dismissed his disoriented thoughts in favor of scanning the area he currently occupied. There was nothing but a heavy scent that indicated some border of sorts and it mingled freely with the almost overwhelming smell of the sea. Interesting, he thought, lips twisting into a frown. Of all the places to wake up suddenly from what could only be presumed as death, why here? What was this place's significance?
Frankly, it appeared that the young man had more questions than answers. For some reason, he disliked that feeling greatly. There was a certain weakness that could be found in not knowing and Ilijas was confident in saying that he was not weak. In even the slightest. Perhaps someone would come across him and at least share with him the name of the group he sat on the border of. Perhaps someone would not. It didn't matter to him either way.
(just for reference, his name is pronounced e-lee-ah!)
