it had been over a week at this point. she vanished one night some time ago and was just now returning. beaten and tired. she carried a skull in her jaws. the skull of another cat. in the skulls jaw was a rib and hip bone. this had not been her goal. a blooding. she could have cared less. you see, it started with the hunger.

she was hungry so she went to her first option. roses. leaving the desert was her first thought, until she smelled blood. she thought the worst. moving along until she found a trespasser eating rabbit. she attacked when they refused to leave. injuring them both, but she won. then, she fed off them for a while. not the meat, but the blood. vampires gotta eat and all she can stomach outside roses was simply blood.

she let vultures eat the meat and that took a few days. she ended up taking time to heal and finally returned with a few new scars. now she was sitting in the camp center. her thoughts were on her seedlings. they must need her attention by now. so, she opted to take her prize home. passing many surprised faces.

dropping her bones once again on her door step as she entered her space.

the arrival of a dragon, one she knew thankfully, would get her attention. the woman would turn her head and offer a soft purr in response. tail curling about herself before she tried to think of a way to convey her little hunt.

opting to scrawl it onto the earth with sharp claw. indeed. they would not leave and they got a fight. i might be kitten sized, but i am no kitten. her eyes were sparkling with amusment at her own comment.
