she limped next to agrimony with a satisfied smile on her maw. despite the pain the cheetah had dealt to her body she was happy. both of them had managed to take him down, agrimony pinning his neck and body with a hoof and allowing inferno to rip his eyes out before crushing the animal's skull with a nicely-done strike, the force large enough to kill a grown man.

they had been.. consuming some things, some grass a little bit earlier, then had decided to go for a walk along the borders for a little bit of them time when they stumbled across the cheetah, who had hissed at them. inferno's optics had turned red, some sort of bloodlust burning in them. she was fuelled by the buzz from the high and the heat she was feeling that was radiating from agrimony.

it had been a tough battle - she had been pushed backwards by wind more than once, and more than once had she been slashed, tossed around, and hit trees or branches or the ground. but every time she got back up, let out a manic giggle, and tossed herself against their opponent again. she had seen agrimony get hurt and felt anger and that made her happy - fuelled her even more to attack harder, better, faster. until finally, finally the female had managed to distract ximen enough for agrimony to pin him, causing the two non-elementals to take him down.

she was stumbling a little bit, then romulus' gaze flashed in her head. he had looked at her with such tenderness and she liked him, looked up to him as a fatherly figure. but now she wondered what he would think. she shook her head and nearly tripped over a tree root. stumbling and muttering a curse she pushed further, hesitating slightly before stepping into camp.

nobody but the landscape knew what they had done, but once they smelt tanglewood and blood on the pair they would immediately know. would the same thing happen to them that happened to jormungand? would everyone get mad at them?

[div style="width: 51%; text-align: justify; font-size: 10pt; letter-spacing: 0px; font-family: georgia; color: #301014;"]had he meant for this to happen while they were out? not really, but at the same time he could not let that cheetah thing get away with hissing at inferno like that. he had taken pleasure in holding him by the throat until she was finished with him. the crunch of his skull under hoof making him feel alive.

he loved it.

he had scars still bleeding on his rippling form. his blood mixed with the cheetah's and some of inferno's own blood. he had fought with everything in him to protect her from being harmed or worse. the buzz, mixed with adrenaline, had kept him from feeling the pain he should have. having seen her rage and her giggling each time she stood up and attacked. that bloodlust she so clearly had in her heart.

little flame.

she was his little flame. his queen. his goddess. he would never let it go and he would fight by her side until he took his last breath. he remembered the fear for her with each gust of wind he struggled to withstand. each slash, each time she hit a tree or the earth. these things drove him wild with rage.

he hated ximen.

not that he knew the name of their victim in the slightest. but each time he hurt inferno only made him angrier and angrier. he was not one to hold back and he knew he had to have broken the cheetah's bones in a few places. each time she was down, he was between the cheetah and her.

he protected her.

and then, she distracted him just long enough and agrimony did what he must. his pain was nothing compared to the pain he knew that male felt under his mighty hoof. now, as his high was waning, he still felt no remorse for his actions. part of him knew he should feel bad, but he didn't.

not for ximen.

he did, however, feel bad for inferno. she was hurt and he was furious about it. he had no idea that she was worried about a thing. he noted her stumbling and aimed a cautious hoof to stop her if she fell. luckily she wouldn't fall and soon they were in camp. there, he lay next to her. letting drops of blood fall onto the earth under him as he looked her over.

I DON'T WANT TO CHANGE THE WORLD-

The scent of tanglewood brought the war god over, but as he stared at the two, bloodied and beaten, a low snarl left his maw. He cared little for Agrimony's sentiment toward the smaller feline. "Why are you two covered in blood and wounds, carrying Tanglewood's scent?" he walked up, slow, powerful steps.

He had enough with the senseless bloodshed. They did something, he knew it.

he asked if she was okay and she nodded. that was at least what she thought, she didn't hurt that badly, surprisingly, but that might be because of the drugs, she didn't know. he seemed to be bleeding from multiple places, and a look of concern washed across her face. "are you okay?" she asked softly, glancing at the blood dripping to the ground.

a voice, tinged with fury, reached her ears and she spun around to see byriath. thunder shook in his gaze and hers turned blue and red as fear and realisation of what they truly did sunk in. off of the h andi fully serous she shrunk back slightly but stepped forwards. "we were attacked, so we fought back." it was true for the most part. the wound she had on her body bore witness for the fight ximen had put up. muscles sore, beaten black and blue - bleeding from multiple areas and limping. ear had been bitten and nearly torn loose.

involuntarily a giggle-shriek left her and she clamped her jaws shut with an annoyed snort. "sorry." she mumbled. she didn't want byriath to think that she was laughing because of the kill.

A frustrated grin stretched across his face as he listened to Inferno. "I can see that. Now, where were you attacked at? Was it within our territory?" Byriath strained, looming over the feline while paying little attention to Agrimony. He tried to induce a high-pitched ringing tone in Inferno's mind, hopefully enough to induce discomfort in hopes to get her to speak. Then, he reared his head back and yelled out, " [member=16278]PLEXUS[/member] ! We have injured."

Wings beat in the sky, alerting anyone to the fact Saturn was nearby. They settled next to where Byriath’s scent was the strongest, making sure to give wide enough bearth as to not hit their husband with their wings, after doing it one too many times you tend to learn when you’re too close to said husband.
The stench of blood and Tanglewood dominated the scents of the area, causing their nose to wrinkle briefly. Ears flicked as the snow leopard listened to the other speak, not quite believing the young feline but choosing to not speak up on their hesitation. “Do either of you need help walking? I could carry you back if I need too.”

byriath towering over her was enough to make her ears flatten against her skull and shrink back. a cacophony of noise reared in her mind and her optics glazed over. the noise byriath was making didn't help either. she had never seen him like this, and was silent for quite a while. it was only when he called out for plexus that she snapped out of the daze, wanting to shove him to the side. but she couldn't, she didn't have the strength or want to attack someone who meant so much to her.

frustrated, she let out a growl with no intention to threaten, and watched saturn descent from the sky. the winged animal offered to help, and she shook her head no with a weary smile. she hurt all over, so plexus was the face she'd like to see the most, and it was willpower that rejected help. inferno didn't need help, she never needed help. she was raised, well, not raised, to learn that.

so much was happening and he tossed his mane. looking over inferno a moment before lowering his head to touch her flank. offering her some support and comfort before lifting his head once more. his eyes locking onto byriath. he offered a snort at his tone before speaking in his own turn. not flinching at the others tone in the slightest.

we were on the boarders walking. that was where we were attacked and where we defended ourselves. he answered sharply. eyes not leaving the other a moment before noting the question from saturn. the stallion turned his gaze to the other and blinked.

no thank you. i am sure i will be fine.

Plexus Kingsford's ears pricked at the sound that boomed, it was Byriath. With frantic paws, he readjusted the first aid kit on his side and dashed off as fast as he could, his mask back at his home. His paws thundered against the ground, his green eyes glinting, as he did a catalog on what was near the area he was at. He could faintly scent Inferno, Byriath, Agrimony, and...a few others he couldn't place (he surely hoped they all weren't injured, he morosely noted his one first aid kit on him). Bursting through some undergrowth, Plexus finally arrived.

Gasping for a second, he shook all the twigs and leaves off his pelt, his muscles violently jumping from all the overstimulation, his sharp gaze flitted between the old Guru and the two injured. Pulling the medkit off his side, he began to rummage through it with words dragging like broken glass from his maw, "Explain injuries. Leave out nothing."
