    ♛ GAEL Ó BROIN
As his cousin suspected, the vulpine had been on his daily patrol -- golden hazel eyes narrowing as he returned to find quite the commotion.  If Vale intended to damage his pride or the like, zey would be forever disappointed.  The Ardent eyed the piñatas with disinterest.  As far paint, the faerie himself was an artist; he possessed no cause to be offended by graffiti.

Invoking trespassers to cross into the heart of Pittian territory; an act of treason.  "So, zer loyalties are clear."  For he had little doubts of who Vale could entice into Pitt lands -- the Coalition of the Condemned.  The arrogant fools are overextending themselves.

Gael raised his chin, simply focusing on blowing the surrounding dust away with a strong gust of wind; more concerned for those surrounding the building, than the pyramid itself.  Pittian lives came first.

"I want patrols checking the tunnel entrances," the Ardent commanded, ice in his voice.  He would not have any further assaults on his home this day.  Perhaps it is time we rearrange the tunnels.

"As for Aston," he inclined his head in agreement with his daughter. "Zey may be leaving on their on accord, but for inviting enemies into our camp, zey are a traitor to the Pitt.  Should they ever return to our lands, kill zem on sight."

There was doubt, if Vale would ever truly do anything other than the petty things. Word games, open challanges; only to be met with ignorance from the Ardent. Ignorance, if a touch of ignorance, it made the kodkod annoyed, slightly- why not squash the rebellion? Why even let zem upstart in the first place? To give into the demand for attention would have made it worse, but looking at the ruins now the deputy couldn't think of what would've been worse than this.

For all that talk, and they were gone: fleeing the sight of the crime like a coward. It didn't matter what Gael's actions were in the end, in comparison to him zey where worse than the blood split on sands. At least such a sight was welcome, at least that contributed. In the end Gael was the leader, and zey where simply a runaway

Jack let out a huff of a laugh, a release of tension that edged on hysterical. He quieted himself, cut it off before he allowed it to become something unlike him. "well, what a performance, all show and zey just- what? leave?" He shook his head with a wave of his tail his blue eyes got a steely glow. "would' you let me freeze the temple? It would hold it for the moment, if nothing else." It was the middle of winter, he could feel his own powers act up, the want to let it loose, it would be easy. Not a repair, but an improvement.

    Kian Ó Faoláin
The Irishman scoffed quietly.  Having been prepared for a fight, the wildcat dropped and rolled at Vale's first assault.  Unamused, the pirate leapt back up to his paws, tail lashing.  "Oh sorry sunshine," he quipped without hesitation.  "I'm new.  And I definitely wasn't greeted by your smiling face at the border." No, he would've remembered that -- only Gael and Aine had seen him into the Pitt.  So don't act like you're somehow the shit.

Kian had to blink when the earth rose in front of him, taking the blow of the projectile pinata.  Ah, Aine.  His cousin's daughter looked absolutely furious, leaving him time to assess and flick his ear dismissively at the hyena's crazed rant.  He had no cause to feel for the other, no sympathy or the like.

Instead, he growled in warning when the pyramid began to fall.  Aine and himself were the closest and unharmed it seemed.  Thank goodness.  As the dust swept itself away, Kian knew it was Gael, who had swift commands.  Though he rarely thought of himself a harsh man, he agreed with the words spoken around him.  The retribution would be merciless should Vale ever return.

He snorted and nodded at Jack's words.  It certainly didn't impress him.  As for the temple, "I can help with that," he offered.  A temporary fix to make the ruins a little less dangerous.

"If no one's hurt, perhaps Aine can check the tunnel entrances.  She can close them if need be."
We'll all be returning, if we sail together
