-- WHERE THE WILD THINGS MAKE SENSE --
.thoughts && Speech.
.thoughts && Speech.
the scent of the sea was as soothing as it was taunting, bringing with it whispers of memories. the temptation to re-enter the waters in search of those he had lost was ever as strong, leading the wounded siren to wander the beaches in a half-present state of awareness. above would his eyes wander to the warm sun beating down upon the sands, the breeze drifting through coarse waterproof fur, blue scales aglitter within strands pushed away by the wind's kiss.
the ocean was as much a siren's call as his own voice, leading him to constantly return to the lip of the encroaching waters, blue eyes gazing out to the sea in a lingering way. as it was this day, his path had led him close to the waters and within his path, had been a body revealed. standing without movement for a while, nose twitching as he inhaled the different scent upon this stranger's fur. finally, something clicked in his mind, and he remembered that he had a voice himself.
swish of tail, fins rustling the slightest as the siren cast his gaze upon the similar colored stranger, a familiar accent reaching his ears with a flicker of surprise crossing through his eyes. "Hola, mi amigo. Has llegado a El Tifón," he would murmur before blinking and bowing his head, "... A pleasure to meet you, Angel. My name is Vinicius, please call me Vic.", the siren flicked his tail awkwardly. Was he too forward? "Em. Do you speak Spanish?" he tipped his head slightly, blinking a few times down at the selkirk rex.
