People were gathering. Good, good. He nodded in acknowledgement to Okami before he stepped back, careful not to approach the lapping flames of the Firepit too closely and risk burning himself. Now it was time. His first meeting.
"I'd like to welcome every one of youse to the Enclave 'nd its new home here," Maximilian began, projecting his booming voice so that all could hear his words. "We'll take things slow, getting used to our new territory and workin' out all the kinks. But before this, I would like to announce some important promotions." He had been taking note of those who displayed the greatest initiative and desire to work hard, determining what role would fit their skillsets and Divisions best. After weeks of deliberation, he felt that he was ready to make his conclusions public.
"I'll begin with our Trias — our three Division leaders. That is, the Sigma of the Sun Division, the Delta of the Moon Division, and the Epsilon of the Star Division. I've elected members whose skills most accurately reflect the values and ambitions required for these positions. I am appointing Sora as our Sigma, Rylios as our Delta, and Okami as our Epsilon. Effective immediately, all Omegas will report to these three with respect to their Division." Surely this would assist him in the whole leadership thing and soothe his nerves a little. He could not do this alone. "I'd also like to announce two more promotions. Alex and Ragnar will be the Enclave's first Gammas." He took a moment for the changes in the Enclave's ranks to sink in. "Congratulations to the five of youse. Work hard."
With that being said, he wanted to give a fair warning to those gathered. "I thank youse all for gatherin' here. Moving on, only Omegas and above may attend regular meetings, which will be indicated by lighting a flame in the Firepit. Emergency meetings 'nd the like will be marked by the fire and the call of the bugle. To progress to the rank of Omega, Zetas must complete their Nostos. Get that shit done. Good things only come with hard work." This was no place for the weak. Many people were slacking already.
"Finally, I have an opportunity for youse all to get some shit done around here. The Enclave will be sendin' gifts to as many foreign clans as possible. Be courteous 'n put some effort into 'em. We'll be doin' this to make our presence known and to better understand the intents of other clans. If you're in a place that you think is unsafe, leave the basket on their borders or some shit and get the fuck out. Don't risk your head for this, and don't cause any trouble anywhere. For those interested, just announce where you're goin' and follow through afterwards." Max didn't want to sacrifice any Enclavians, especially not this early, but interaction with other clans would be necessary at some point. It was time to get a head start.
"Unless you're interested in the gift baskets or have any questions, this meeting is dismissed," the wolf said with a huff, pleased to have finally finished. Well, that wasn't too bad, right?
