[div style="width: 48%; line-height: 14px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 13px;"]A BRIEF GUIDE TO SILAS/FLAMEY.
Silas Ignibus, better known to Zjarr and often referred to as Flamey, is the spirit of a former mortal that now haunts the Ignibus Forge. His appearance is that of his domestic cat form (a scarred orange-and-white tabby with amber eyes), but due to his ghostly nature, his looks are more of a silhouette and his colors are not visible. Silas' former aliases are Flamewhisker and Harmonypaw.
Silas was the former vessel of Zjarr. Zjarr is a demon that steals bodies from his victims. His natural form is that of a horned, winged lynx. Zjarr had preyed on Silas and stolen his form, though Silas proved to be quite resilient and was able to hold some control over his body still, even after Zjarr possessed him; in addition, the two were able to communicate with one another mentally. This continued for years, leading the two to form a strange bond with one another until Silas was able to detach himself from Zjarr's physical form in March 2022.
Silas is the "real" Ignibus. Silas and his two siblings bore the Ignibus surname long before Zjarr had even met him. Zjarr assumed the Ignibus surname when he first possessed Silas (then known as Flamewhisker), and he retained the name ever since.
Silas' interactions with other characters are very limited. He is not capable of telepathy and cannot directly speak to characters that are not Zjarr, as he is currently essentially an NPC. He cannot touch characters, bring harm to characters, or otherwise interact with characters further than having them feel his presence (a burst of cold air), see his silhouette, or him writing things out to characters on a sheet of paper (which he rarely does, if at all). Characters may attempt to speak to him, but they will often not get a response.
Silas is not a vengeful spirit. In life and in death, Silas is a lawful good. He is a benevolent soul that does not seek to harm anyone.
Silas' ultimate goal is to be exorcised. Though he is now free from sharing a body with Zjarr, Silas does not want to indefinitely reside in the Forge. As such, he will try to "contact" characters (see above) he thinks could free or exorcise him from the Forge so that his spirit may finally rest.
