─ Wolfthroat is tall, all of her height from her legs - and she has the muscle to boot. She has clearly spent time prioritizing physical prowess over outward appearance, and she does not keep after appearances like other girls may. Her fur is more medium in length as opposed to very long, yet she does not keep up after it exceedingly well. It is regularly unkempt and unbrushed, which affects the pretty branching stripes across her belly. Her fur bears a soft brownish-grey atop a brighter grey underbelly and bust, and darker brown stripes paint their way across her back, legs, and tail. The uneven way the grey spreads across her underbelly and legs is something Wolfthroat is not fond of. Simple scars branch over her left cheek, just under her eye, and on the right of her jaw.

† ─ Wolfthroat appears at first witness as a hardworking and determined cat. She is strong and set in her ways, and has natural leadership abilities that may draw others to her. However, she is quite stubborn beneath all that, and it will become painfully obvious before long. She is angry and bitter, and anyone (un)lucky enough to get under her feet and on her nerves may get snapped at. She does not like to collaborate, share, or work with others, and prefers to stay off by herself or independently lead a group. She drives a tight ship when permitted. Wolfthroat keeps up her haute and defensive nature simply because she is scared of being seen as weak or inferior. It is why she strives to stay strong and capable in battle. She doesn’t want to rely on others, and doesn’t want others to rely on her.

† ─ Though she is but young, Wolfthroat has seen much hurt in her day. As a kitten, she grew up the only in her litter, and though she was doted on by her parents, she was still lonely. But she was aptly named: “Wolfkit”, from her appearance and from her fighting spirit. As she would almost graduate onto her apprenticeship, her mother would fall under the weather. Her father would follow suit, and both were dead by the night of her ceremony. It would affect greatly the first handful of weeks into her apprenticeship - bereavement on a soul so young took it’s toll, and her mentor was not particularly easy on her despite the circumstance. From it, Wolfpaw learned to not wear her heart on her sleeve. This was a lesson which will affect her all through her life. She became increasingly more reserved and angry through her apprenticeship, leading to her determination to be war-hardened. Though she has mellowed out some and is no longer quite so angry, Wolfthroat is still extremely motivated in battle and rather closeted.
