Bloodshot eyes lifted up to reveal Kold and Vale before him, the former coming first to deliver a shaky congratulations to the feline. He pursed his lips but nodded in acknowledgment to her, a momentary pang of pity within his heart as he cast a glance upon the undead canine. "Thank you, Kold," he said to her before turning back to the corpse. "Hmm. I don't know if coyote meets your taste buds' standards, but if it does, be my guest." He tilted his head to the corpse slightly, notably refusing to look at it ever again. He supposed that if no one in the Pitt had a particular pension for coyote meat, he could just cast it into the Crimson Nile and be done with it, but if he had the opportunity to give a little something-something to this community, then why put it to waste? Maybe some food would be helpful for the canine, anyway, if she had an appetite now.
Vale had much more noticeable vigor, though that was likely due to the fact that ve wasn't sickly and rotting in the way that Kold was (with no offense to the other canine, of course). He nodded to ver as well, though his head bobbed slightly lower in a show of some greater respect for the Ardent that was tasked with officiating the completion of his Blooding. "It's an honor," he responded to ver, though he knew good and well that he found this feat to be nothing spectacular. If the Pitt didn't prove useful to him, he would leave at any time he so desired. So far, though, he had found himself making a pleasant living here.
A curved, obsidian ear twitched at the crow's remarks regarding the skeleton of the corpse. Crafting, huh? Well, that's another reason not to let this godforsaken corpse disintegrate in the river. "Take all you'd like. Don't want to waste an inch of it."
// thank you!!!
