HOUSE OF KINSELLA ⚜ DEATH BE THY DESTINATION !

The House of Kinsella - a House belonging to the Family of Kinsella. The House of Kinsella specializes in the art of assassination, specifically with medicines and naturally found chemicals. The House is currently led by [member=23237]jasper[/member] Kinsella, the first Lord of the House, and a man on the run from an insurgent royal family of his original home country.

The Kinsella House and Family are prideful in their work, and strive to keep their names known as the best family out there to deal in murder and death. They are fiercely set against any competition and often will try to take out any competitors that either threaten their name or simply have a penchant for a messy dispatch - they find a beauty in the art of assassination and anyone who disregards the art of laying the living to rest must suffer for it. The House and Family's members go by the motto "Death Be Thy Destination", and are known to be perfectionists in their trade, leaving naught a hair disturbed at the scene of their performances.

Not only perfectionists and fierce competitors, the members of the House and Family are a close-knit band. Although close, the members are encouraged to train their skills upon one another, and to actively compete against each other for a chance to earn themselves higher ranks. The House and Family are made up of adopted members, blood-line members, and any who work for them. Any who bear their name are trained in some fashion of assassination, low-tier to high-tier and often extend their feasts and events to those outside the Family and House.

The House and Family of Kinsella proudly bear a banner of blue and golden hue upon which is depicted a dual-bladed scythe with a double-headed snake twisting itself upon the staff. This insignia functions as the Family Crest and House Banner, and is displayed within the home of the current Lord or Lady.

⚜ The Lord or Lady's words are law and if they are disobeyed or their laws broken, there will be punishment for disobedience, suited to the crime done.
⚜ Make clean kills and deliveries, take pride in one's work and do not leave a trace - not a hair must be disturbed.
⚜ Feel free to challenge and compete with the other members - hard situations lead to greater perseverance.
⚜ Killing a fellow member is allowed only if they have committed treason against the House and Family or their own host group.
⚜ The Family is to be protected at all costs, even the cost of your own life. We may be assassins but we also serve as a bulk ward against threats to the Family and our host groups.
⚜ Look out for one another, you are family after all. Take care of each other and the unfortunate.
⚜ Once a member has been exiled from the House and Family, they are not to be conversed with, and if one is caught speaking to them, they will be punished. The exiled are stripped of rank and marking, cast out from all activities related to the House and Family.

⚜ RANKS & MARKERS ⚜

LORD/LADY - Head of the House and Family. Owner of House Heirloom, a brooch made of Scorodite. Brooch signifies their rank as the Head. Their spouse(s) do not gain any power but may carry the same title. > high position <

PRIMOR - Heir of the House and Family. Not always of blood-relation, can be other members who have climbed the ranks. Wears a pendant of Dumortierite inside quartz to signify their rank as the Heir. Can be surpassed by the Basileus if necessary. this rank will be decided in roleplay unless the Lord or Lady has a litter, and members within the litter may compete for this title. > high position <

BASILEUS - Highest rank afforded to a member outside of being Primor or Lady/Lord. Usually reserved for the most well-performed assassin or member. Wears a necklace with Kyanite to mark their rank as the most honored member or assassin. Can replace the Primor in necessary circumstances. > semi high position <

EMIR - Middle rank of assassin, usually highly revered and well-known amongst their peers. They can be moved up to the rank of Basileus with further proof of loyalty to the House and Family. Wears bangles of Hawk's Eye or Blue Tiger's Eye to show their rank as Emir. > semi high position <

AETHELING - Lowest rank of assassin, still held in a good regard by peers and is proving their fealty to the House and Family. Can be promoted to rank of Emir with dedication and courage. Wears either a single, or pair of Lapis Lazuli long/dangling earrings to show their rank. > stepping stone position <

LANDGRAVE/LANDGRAVINE - Standard rank given to all members of the House and Family. Can be promoted to Aetheling with interest. Wears a single, or pair of Labradorite earring studs or piercings elsewhere on the body. > standard position <
