A scream ripped through the jungle, ruining the peace of twilight. Bonnie awoke with a jolt, shouldering her packs and nothing more in a fervent rush to get out the door. For once her steps were silent as she ran through the night, leaves and twigs catching in her fur as she blazed a trail to the source of the commotion.
'Mezrith'
It was the rat-tailed feline's home she stood in front of. Without a moments delay Bonnie went inside only to be met by an enormous scaled beast whom in the darkness Bonnie assumed was a crocodile. Panic struck. "Help!" she shrieked before bursting right back out of Mezriths residence.
