[SOJOURN]

Isolated, separated, she did not want to take part in the happy little events of her homeland. She was not happy for how could she be when she did not sit upon the throne. Instead her brother now sat where she had once ruled all because of her inconsistencies. All because of her weaknesses. He said that he had missed her. His eyes swelled with those emotions, a book she could read. But an emotion she could not reciprocate. But she said it anyway.. she missed him. She was a liar. The undead lioness felt her bones rattle and shake as she walked out of her home for the first time in what seemed like days. Oh she had heard the news and it traveled, her mother was back now too. Her mother. Anger hit her hard, swaying her steps as she walked out of their village and took a path along the mountainside.

It was so strange to be alive, to have flesh clinging and torn. Gums showing with lips rotten away. Throat exposed where she had dug her own claws into. Taking a deep breath she found the beach, she found the wood. It would do for something to keep her distracted. Her claws began to work over the wood, peeling off slivers carefully and slowly. Forming a shape out of nothing. It took a while but soon it was finished. A lion, roaring to the sky. A warrior of emptiness. "Aww, it's cute. Annoyingly cute." And then she broke the head off, a pulling of mouth into a wretched grin.
