ATTICUS ROUX -
The neutral lands was a place where Atticus liked to occasionally roam. With his previous experience going between The Pitt and Tanglewood, he had grown accustomed to traversing the land, especially with the meeting tree to guide him when he reached the halfway point. Needless to say, he was no stranger to these parts. He enjoyed the quiet, long adventure and often took the time to think. Even so, in the last few years, he had not taken the opportunity to wander the neutral lands, as his priorities remained within Tanglewood. Today seemed to be different though.
The night sky gleamed over his head for the majority of his trip through the wide land. Thoughts of the past rolled through his head as he walked along, but as the sunrise creeped over Earth's edge, his mind shifted to the future. The tabby's paws pressed into the ground as he walked further into the neutral land's daring territory. Chiseled, grim features stayed forward. Golden eyes surveyed his surroundings, carefully avoiding other animals and dangerous places. Atticus Roux intended to be alone on his walk. No issues would hopefully arise.
That changed quickly though. One and a half ears pinned on his skulls were startled upwards. The sound of a yelling voice echoed out from a cave nearby and caught his attention. A male's voice led the discussion. With a dictionary of swears in mind, Zjarr's incessant and emotional screeching came to light. Atticus stopped in his tracks for a moment. His eyes peered over to the cave in the distance and offered a frown at it's appearance. Although he couldn't decipher the situation, he assumed the fighting would end and fade out. Offering a shrug, he continued on with his lonely walk.
He meandered away from the yelling, leaving the bickering to fade out in the distance. "So much for fucking silent night walks," he murmured. As soon as the words left his mouth, the ear-splitting cry of Zjarr's rage toward Flamey resonated through the neutral lands and from behind Atticus. A growl left the feline in annoyance. In good conscious, he could not leave this stupid fuck screaming as the night faded away if they were in trouble.
Displeasure visibly radiated from Atticus as he turned on his heels and went back. He grew closer to the Forge this time and narrowed his vision out onto the entrance, noticing a presence shifting within. Zjarr emerged into the golden light moments later. The feline offered a snort. "You look like shit," he offered jokingly. "I bet you sound like it too after all that screaming." After all, the tail end of the conversation was too quiet to hear. Atticus could only predict Zjarr's voice had grown hoarse.
The Tanglewood member drifted closer. His head craned and looked the other up and down. "What's the commotion about?" came his inquiry.
