Only recently did he cross the border without permission because he had vital intel that would protect them from upcoming discourse.

"You should have started with that, but blood relations don't prove your intent," Atticus grumbled. "Why are you here?" Tanglewood didn't have much to offer. An explorer had to have some reason for visiting their land, whether it was to visit family, inquire about their library, or simply join. The canine wasn't willing to continue or give any verdict without that information.
