not every day you watch a child get dragged down under. kiara followed the voice with a quick trot, the pace hurrying up as the animal seemingly disappeared from sight. a barked curse from the coyote as she skidded to a halt, sure the scream had come from this swamp right there. thank heavens it was shallow, greed flattened herself to the ground and tossed a sturdy-looking fern in the direction of the animal. "hey! grab on to this!" it hadn't really come into her mind that this may be a trespasser, but this was a child, for fuck's sake! a child that could drown. "try not to move your body and try grabbing onto this with your mouth!"
