Ever since the raid, Roan had been... tired. Even more so than usual. Exhausted was probably the proper word for it, really. Not only had he been dealing with bringing Diya home and treating her injuries, but then the raiding party had returned as well. Obviously a great deal of them were injured, and the soothsayer had spent hours treating all of their various wounds and bruises. By the time he was done, he wanted nothing more than to curl up into a ball and rest. And that was indeed what he had done, passing out in his small section of the temple with his pelt a mess, full of various herbs that he hadn't bothered cleaning up just yet. He was vaguely aware of the fact that his mama had come to stay with Diya, but he didn't have any issues with that – as long as Diya didn't leave the temple. While he knew he couldn't keep her in the temple for all that long – she was far too restless – he was hoping to keep her in place for at least a couple of days. Just until she was strong enough to properly be back up and moving around The Typhoon as usual.
Roan was finally roused from his slumber a few minutes after his mama had left, blinking open his exhausted blue gaze and glancing around the temple. His jaws stretched open in a yawn, and he slowly got up to his paws, grabbing his satchel and slipping out past Diya. The open air woke him up fairly quickly, and while he still felt the desire to sleep for a little longer, he figured he'd better go and refill his heart stocks. He was running a little low on... pretty much everything, considering the recent raid. So, he headed off in the direction of the jungle, tail twitching behind him as he noticed Roxanne's scent trail leading there as well. What was she doing...? He couldn't help the feeling of worry that lingered in his gut as he sped up his pace. His anxieties only got worse when the scent of blood reached him, and he found himself shouting, "Roxanne! Mama! Where the hell are you?" Had the Coalition decided to strike back so quickly? That didn't seem likely, considering the horrid injuries that The Typhoon had inflicted upon them. Still, he didn't entirely rule it out, finding his heart pounding rather quickly – he had just lost his uncle, he couldn't lose his mama too.
Thankfully, it wasn't long before Roxie emerged from the trees. Not so thankfully, she was bleeding from her shoulder, and limping along. A huff of frustration left Roan as he rushed over to where she laid, muttering, "What happened? Was it the Coalition?" It certainly didn't smell like it had been the Coalition, but he also couldn't think much over the smell of his mama's blood – again. With a sigh, he reached into his bag for his usual infection-preventing poultice, muttering as he reached out to try and apply it to the wound on her shoulder, "Please stay still, mama..." He then moved to grab some of his bandages, trying to apply those to the captain's shoulder as well.
