Her eyes fluttered open, she jolted upwards expecting to find Alexandre but was faced with Diya. Don't leave me. These words were all that was processed as Roxanne winced from the pain before speaking "You silly woman... I'd be a fool if I left you." A smile on her face yet Roan had arrived too, her smile faltering when she realized that her attacker was gone. Ears laid flat against her head. Did her son hate her? Roxie was a bit lightheaded from losing blood and a paw brushed against the bandages around her neck. Did he hate her? So sorry that you're a fool. These words rang in the captains head as she sat there beginning to wobble ever so slightly but leaned into Diya so she wouldn't topple over. He hated her. That was the only answer that presented itself within her head and it made her heart begin to ache.
She could feel the stinging feeling within her eyes as tears began to blossom, her eyes staring at the ground but the captain lifted a shaky paw to wipe these tears away. You're a fool. A pained smile hidden by the fur of her wife as she tried to stop the urge to cry yet the way her voice began to break from emotion being a dead giveaway "You all worry too much..." She bit down on the inside of her left cheek as she sat there with wings slouching at her sides. You're a horrible mother, Roxanne. A hushed thought broke through her mind and settled itself there. It must be true... If Alexandre had attacked her and drained the blood from her yet... Roxanne said nothing more falling completely silent. Her body shaking ever so slightly, her voice a mere whisper.
"You worry too much..."
