This crow was certainly a curious sort, with its strange mannerisms and reactions. Ve clearly could understand Dante, though ve still remained somewhat feral. Seeming to have no consciousness, but a proper sentence seemed to be formed. Impressive even, and made Dante even more curious about the three-eyed creature. Who is forgotten, Vale or the lore? A rhyme, ironically enough. Dante remembered Vale, missed Vale, even. Hell, the reason he had even gotten the ability to shapeshift in the first place was because of his memory of ver. "Vale is not forgotten." Dante responded with a small sigh, picking his paw up as the crow pecked at it, irritated for a moment.
"Vale has not been forgotten." Dante repeated. The crow spoke truth in vis words - what was a name but memories strung together to form a consciousness. Is that what separated them from feral creatures? Shit, he was not high enough for that sort of psychological bullshit. "I remember ver." Was that the wrong pronoun for vim? Dante couldn't remember, neo-pronouns were a little hard to understand but he still tried to respect it. Sitting down now, the hybrid looked down at the crow, watching it carefully now. "A friend. Someone who understood that this place has gone to shit." God damn, was he actually venting at a non-sentient animal now? What the actual fuck. He was going insane. "Someone who knew how to run a party, that's for sure. Destroyed the pyramid, from what I've heard. Impressive, admirable."
