「 H U R R Y U P ! T H E S U N I S G O I N G D O W N ! 」
It wasn't uncommon for Diya to stop by where her wife was working, often carrying lunch in her maw as she hoped to share a meal with her lover. That was something that brought her joy, the fact that she had a wife! A wife who she spent every day with and spent every night with! Who she could share meals with and hold and live out her days with.
A basket with sandwiches and other treats for Roxanne was held in her maw, the feline taking her smaller form as she traversed the halls of the tempest. Her footsteps would falter though as the iron smell of blood reached her, a frown on her maw as her ears pinned back, pace rapidly rising. And the scene that greeted her, oh, oh how it harmed her. A mournful cry would rip from her maw, basket falling to the ground as she lept over it, staring at her lover in terror. "ROXANNE?" she would cry as panic flooded her, breath coming in half beats as she bit down on her own tongue, stomach curling at the blood pooling, her own mind fighting itself. "ROAN," she would cry out, hoping her adoptive son would hear her or someone may be able to get him for her. She would then return her attention to her wife, shaking paws pressing against the wound as if she could stop the bleeding.
And oh, isn't it a shame the Captain had married a vampire, hm? They wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Diya, though she didn't know that, not yet. But it left her stomach turning, churning as she felt fear dredge up nausea but something deeper and much more monstrous reared its head. She felt her paws tremble, fur standing on edge as she left her inner mind began to crack and crumble. She couldn't lose Roxanne, she couldn't. She couldn't lose her, but this, this was so much. There was so much blood, and in such a tender spot. "Roxanne, please... le monde entier, don't leave me" she would cry mournfully, praying that someone who could actually help came soon. There was a thought, in the back of her head, of something she could do to help. But, no. No. Roxanne wouldn't want her to.
