His orange hues followed her from the shadows as she appeared before his being. Alexandre's head craned to the side. Slitted hues controlled by the leader within stared Roxanne up and down momentarily, observing the feline closely with interest as the other spoke. The woman who incited part of Stryker's death stood and the fall of Sojourn's group before them, yet she stood unwavering. Her façade merely remained unexpressive. The two souls listened in silence. Curiosity struck, but her words seemed... almost genuine and not alluring towards a lie that Alexandre and his possessor had manifested. Hesitation. He tried to move back and nod his head in disagreement, but Sojourn's ingenuine control kept him from stepping away. 'No escape now,' her voice cooed within his head. Frozen in place and unresponsive, the boy's teeth slowly began to bare. Canines gritted in annoyance. Couldn't he see through her lies? Couldn't he realize what potential and power he withheld? Could Alexandre ever see himself properly? Sojourn doubted it. She would show him the way... whether he liked it or not.
Sojourn's patience was growing thin, but Alexandre's fight continued. Eyes shifted from narrowed to dilated in a visible internal battle as the two battled for control within. Two chaotic souls clashed internally, only for one to come out strong. Alexandre's features grew loose. Fully conscious, he leaned in with wide, orange orbs as she spoke. "I want you to know, mijito, that I will always love you." The feline's head began to nod. "Nothing's ever going to change that either." With each word, he began to violently shake. Regret and nervousness infiltrated his head, but Sojourn's soul began to slither throughout once again. Alexandre's shaky voice began to sputter out. "I'm so... sorry." For all the pain he caused. For all the times he doubted her. For what she was about to do.
In a final, thundering echo throughout his head, Alexandre's soul faded out of control. Hindlegs fell back into the floor and proceeded to push off the deck. The captain's son flew through the air. Outstretched claws attempted to grab onto Roxanne's skull and push her into the floor with a firm grip. A single aimed to press down onto her windpipe as Alexandre's slitted eyes stared downwards, upturning his head in superiority. "So sorry..." The Coalition's leader led his head downwards. His voice dropped to a whisper.
"... that you're a fool."
Dreaded teeth staggered downwards and attempted to crush down into the captain's throat. Canines lodged themselves into place. Within moments, the taste of salt enraptured his senses. Crimson liquid began to fill his mouth and roll over his tongue, pleasuring the two souls within. Sojourn's control weakened. She stepped away voluntarily, letting the male choose. Alexandre leaned in willingly. Every lap of the tongue was of his own choice and without assistance... all he needed was that little push. Warmth charmed him closer to his mother, but as the blood flow began to slow down, he felt himself pull away and lean back.
As pink and widened eyes stared back up at him in shock, Alexandre froze. Roxanne's disappointment was clear... at least to him. Her words repeated in his thoughts. 'Nothing's ever going to change that either.' But would that hold true? His voice hesitated outwards, only to fade off into a lowly stutter. She would... No. She wouldn't love him after this. Her mijito was gone. Flashes of Roxanne and Diya finding him within the Coalition covered in blood and wrapped in the corpse of his victim rushed through his head. Their stares of disappointment, worry, and fear haunted his mind... and now Roxanne's bloodied figure that laid below his paws would only patronize him further.
Sojourn's internal boasting coaxed him to believe whatever he had done would never be forgotten, nor forgiven. He had given in. He bite her. Alexandre had done this, but Sojourn had only provided the coercion to push him forward.
The deed was done. The damage had taken it's toll on Alexandre and Sojourn's goal to show him freedom had been achieved. Returning to the helm, the Coalition of the Condemned's leader sneered. With a final, taunting snap of her jaws, the paired souls ran off into the distance and disappeared.
