SPIRITS IN MY ROOM FRIEND OR FOE?
Wings, Mazepaw could only think of his wings as he was dragged out into the territory of the Coalition and thrown into the pit that had been dug only earlier that day. He was called the winged one, and although that was true, he did have wings, he very much might as well shouldn't have had them. Broken and shattered from his tumble off the cliff only three months prior, the cracks in the bones that had sprout from his shoulder blades had never fully healed, so they lay at his side haphazardly and broken.
It was the same with his legs, broken and never fully healed, the energy he felt as a child making it so that he couldn't get the proper rest that he would need in order to walk properly once again. Now he paid the price - easy to capture and surely easy to kill.
Mazepaw tried to swallow his fear as he heard the words come from the mutated feline's maw, quickly looking over to the one that would be considered his opponent. It was almost unfair how unevenly matched the Pendragon-Daisuke child was at this point in time. Small domestic feline with his one pro a con against him, unable to walk properly against a healthy young wolf. Even if they were both still not fully grown, he knew that it was likely that if Danny actually tried in this, Maze would be quick to die. But he couldn't let that happen, he had to see his family again, he couldn't die.
So eyes would look towards the wolf as he waited to see what he would do, fear radiating off his pelt as claws dug deep into the dirt.
