Many things easily fell outside of Anthemtalon’s mental grasp. Things like games, things like social skills, they were all in a higher level of thought than what the lizard possessed. He didn’t quite understand groups, or territories, seeing them as useless when roaming freely easily meant having lots of ground and lots of options for food. If it wasn’t for food, well, what was the point? With such a thought process, easy it was for it to be assumed that the newly promoted Thane wouldn’t have the slightest clue about capturing those of other groups.

It spoke, so it couldn’t be food, right? Yet the method of restraint definitely said that the newcomer wasn’t like those that he lived alongside. Tongue flicked, talons carrying his heavy body along. “Danger?” Had they.. stolen food and been caught? There wasn’t much reasoning the lizard could grasp; the comment of ‘for sport’ did not make sense to a lizard that only grasped killing and hurting for survival. Yes, they probably had stolen food and been caught. That made sense to him, and he settled on the ground to watch.
