Aphra didn't pay much attention to Byraith, but did note that they came over to see what was going on, commenting on how feisty Vayne was. Angelembrace followed quickly after, mocking Vayne and earning some points from Aphra - the mock Angel made ended up making Vayne speak up and Aphra's head turned sharply to look back down at Vayne as the Privateer spoke about being adopted by Roxanne and Diya. The oriental longhair's lips peeled back in a snarl before she unsheathed her claws and raked them across VAYNE's face. The sight of Vayne's blood on her claws was... oddly satisfying, and seeing Vayne recoil back from the attack made an odd spark of joy flow through Aphra's body.
