He knew where the prisoners were kept, and knew that was likely where Arvid was putting them, but when Ruven had finally decided to go over to see them, he hadn't thought that the male would be bringing in a third capture. All from different groups too, the scents of the three mixed in with that of his home and caused him to inwardly gag. He didn't like the smell of the other groups, especially when they were all mixed together like this, it was just... bad.
Ruven had been told vaguely what the different groups were for the most part, as well as what those could remember what they smelled like, so when the young lion came over and sniffed the air, he could tell that this one was palm glades, sort of. "You don't smell like palm trees." Ruven would mutter as he made his way closer, soon sitting down and wrapping his tail around his paws. "If they know does that mean they'll try to come here to get her back?" Ruven asked, turning over to Byriath as he did so. He hoped so, and a part of him hoped they wanted a fight too, Ruven wanted to be there to show off his powers, even if he knew nothing about fighting.
