After Caesar had attacked Danny, Vayne was, understandably, more worried for her friend. It was an odd feeling, one she didn't particularly like. She didn't like how the worry nagged at her and caused her chest to hurt and her throat to tighten - how funny it was to consider that this was how Danny likely often felt. Of course, the energetic Cipher girl had yet to come to that realization.
But of course due to her worry, it wouldn't take her long before she noticed Danny wasn't around and went looking for him. After her fight with Aphra, Vayne believed that she might have a chance to have a go at Caesar - though she would be wrong if she ever were to meet her grandfather. Seeing Danny and Lumia in the distance made Vayne pick up her pace, eventually coming to stand next to her aunt. "Everything okay?" She echoed Mia's question, noticing how sick Danny seemed.
