Easter egg hunting, huh? He had figured that someone would come up with extra events for the holiday, though he couldn't picture anyone else hosting anything other than Michael despite that thinking. Roxanne was busy and there was no way in Hell he could be convinced that Keona would ever do such a thing. That left...who? Roan? Don't be ridiculous.

The bit about being hunted down by Michael and his rotten weaponry tugged a bit at Danny's nerves, but he was sure that this was perfectly harmless...mostly. Then again, the last time he was promised that something was harmless by Michael, it didn't turn out well or harmless for him. But there was a difference between a bad egg and an entire volcano. Danny rubbed the back of his neck, on the side that didn't carry his injury anyway, and opted to nervously take a basket as well. Look, he could either do this or stay in the temple while everyone else had fun, and he didn't want to do that. He wanted to participate and not look like an injured loser, and also Roan was a little intimidating to be stuck with for extended periods of time. And so off he went.
