WHAT A PRIVILEGE IT IS TO LOVE — Jacob wasn't sure how to react when Aizawa said all of this wasn't necessary. He was just glad that he hadn't annoyed the older man. He gave a smile, feeling his face heat up. "Well, I hope ya' still like it. My Ma taught me ta' cook so it should be good," he began with a wide smile. Jacob didn't have many areas of confidence in his life but baking and cooking was one of them. He knew his Ma had taught him well and he'd learned how to make pasta and cookies from the best. "I jus'... well, I felt kinda' bad 'bout it is all. Ya' really don' look old. I jus' thought that ya' must be related ta' Izuku 'cause ya' look after him so much n' he's real young, I think so... I dunno', I jus' kinda' assumed it," he admitted, his embarrassment only growing as he explained himself. He paused a moment before continuing, "So ya' were their teacher, huh? I ain't ever been no one's teacher 'fore I had Izuku as an apprentice. 'M not sure if I'm any good at it but Izuku's a pretty quick learner. We've been takin' a break, though, with how... well, ya' know. With how 'e's been. I jus' want 'im ta' focus on gettin' better." He wasn't quite sure if Aizawa wanted him to stay here and talk.
