Riftweaver. Roan honestly never thought much about his cousin, particularly following the other's past actions. The soothsayer rarely had patience for anyone, let alone those he viewed as idiots. However, he often kept this information to himself, unless someone pressed. Such as when Inferno ended up asking for poison at his sage tryouts. He had made no efforts to hide his disdain for her idiocy, his voice sharp and to the point, perhaps a little too much so. He had never said anything directly to Rift, though. That was more his mama's department, and he rarely went looking for interactions with others. As a result, he had hardly noticed Riftweaver's retreat from social activities, figuring the other had just... left. It certainly wouldn't have been the first time someone had disappeared, and the medic had honestly become desensitized to it at this point, as with many other things. His own mentor had ended up disappearing without a trace, and after something like that when he was just an apprentice... it didn't affect him so much, anymore. Although, he was sure the same couldn't be said of others.
That didn't seem to be the case this time, however. The siamese had been striding along, paws pressing lightly against the ground as he headed towards the tavern, when he heard voices nearby. Familiar ones. Keona, Vayne... and Riftweaver? He hadn't heard the other's voice, but the scent was still familiar. Figuring he might as well head over – if only to check and see that the other was alive – Roan corrected his course, heading over to where the others were gathered. As he looked Rift over, he found himself muttering a bit bluntly, "Oh, you're back." His tone wasn't hateful, or aggressive. Just... monotone, really. He didn't have a real personal relationship with Rift at this point, so the other was essentially just another potential patient. After a moment, the feline's gaze slowly drifted from Rift over to the other's home, a moment of silence hanging in the air. He then questioned, tail flicking behind him, "Have you been cooped up in there this entire time?" That was an even worse level of hermit than he was, wasn't it? He was fairly certain he knew why the other had hidden away, and it was sort of pathetic in Roan's eyes, but he kept his mouth shut. For now.
