After the scenario with Ares, well, it was safe to say that the legate didn't trust the girl around his children especially Goldenkit since she had specifically lunged to bite him before stopping herself. A soft sigh leaving his maw at the thought, Winnie was more exhausted than usual as these troubled thoughts twisted and churned within his head not certain of what he would do. It was one thing to gain his trust and friendship than losing it all in one act alone, Winterhymns knew that did no good in the slightest seeing that Ares was his apprentice still technically speaking and the medici of the group. His eyes were half closed as he sat out on his porch with his morning tea but the sound of screaming was enough to put him at high alert, his hackles raising as he went to go investigate knowing that was one of his children screaming.
