Bastille was... calm. Collected. There was no stir of the breeze as he walked, no cracks splintering under paw as he headed back into the Observatory from an early morning patrol. There was just... nothing. Peace, serenity, his powers completely under control. Bastille didn't seem to notice that anything was amiss -- and if he did, he didn't say anything about it. Truly, it almost seemed like the calm before the storm.
In reality, the storm had already passed, far outside of Ascendants territory.
The bengal came to a stop within the center of the Circle, looked about idly for a moment, and then offered a lazy grin. "Yo," he called, running through a list of ways to subdue his boredom, "Who wants to go for a swim?" The weather was, after all, pretty nice -- and there currently was no threat of Bastille calling down a storm on accident.
