"Ow, ow, ow..." Soft tiny muttering was heard as the child fumbled his way across the beach. His purple hued eye was closed for the most part while the golden one was wide open. Yet he was stumbling over his own paws as he tried to find someone, anyone for that matter. How he got into this predicament? Well, see, he wanted to have a special place too. Like Drayden had, like those cliffs he had never really seen till the other had taken them to. He figured a special would make him better. Make him stand out just a little bit more. So he had chosen his place which was the beach of course. He loved that place a lot. He enjoyed the sand between his toes and the feeling of the breeze. But if he had to show people why he liked it then he needed to make a place presentable right? It needed to be nice.
So he had set to work digging in the soft and wet sand. Making a small den, burrowing deeper and deeper into the ground. Making it wider or at least he had tried to make it wider. As soon as he tried the whole thing collapsed on top of him. He had screamed for what felt like forever, squirming and pushing his way through the shifting but heavy earth. The ground seemed to be breathing as he heaved his way out of it. Gasping as if he was getting his first taste of oxygen and his eye has been assaulted. "I can't see!" He had squeaked out despite his golden eye being wide open and moving around. His other was shut and he was blindly trying find someone to help. Till he ran right into a tree. A oomph left him as he fell back on his butt, tilting his head back a bit. "Hello? I got sand in my eye. Can you help?"
