DEAR FRIEND as you know, your flowers are withering
your mother's gone insane, your leaves have drifted away.
but the clouds are clearing up
and i've come reveling, burning incandescently,
like a bastard on the burning sea.

When others began to arrive, the female would find herself pleased. Happy that others were coming to chip in, the first being Keona. Her small presence was unsurprising to the female, though it did occur to her she'd overlooked making her flyers in braille. She'd have to figure out how to do all of that for future endeavors (Fortunately, muscle memory would make it easy to pick back up when she did). Nonetheless, the female was able to tell that clearly something was going on and figured it out herself. Anything she could help with? Wow, that was a lot of faith to put in the tigress. She wasn't sure what would suit Keona best. So the female went quiet, setting her body down for a moment to think on it. "Well, since is' a potluck, we'll need plenty o' entertainment. Maybe you could prepare some folks t' sing or tell jokes, or if you've got any games that'd work too!" She thought that would suit the other well enough, and not potentially put her in over her head. There'd be plenty others to do visual things like decoration, and larger members to catch whatever food they'd need. Being dealer, it seemed to make enough sense to put her in charge of that.
Next would be Marianas, the child quick to involve herself in the activity. She would offer a warm smile to the female, listening quietly as she spoke up. She would blink at her mention of helping with either decorations or grabbing fuzzy nuts - which she assumed were coconuts. The choice was pretty easy to make here, and she'd offer a small nod towards her. "Well, I think you could make some great decorations for us! N' we can figure out how t' climb palm trees later, together." The female offered lightly, seeing as she technically hadn't gotten around to doing such a task yet herself. Her wings even went unused since waking up. Though maybe it would be time to try them out soon if she still felt well enough.
Her ears would swivel at Danny's question, tail tip twitching as she looked over to him. "Oh, is' just for fun. Our allies are gonna come n' eat a buncha' yummy food wit' us!" she answered quickly, figuring that was a good enough explanation for a potluck. She could sympathize with the worry of so many being in one place, seeing as her head still got overwhelmed by crowds pretty easy. But, she hoped it could be a good chance to meet everybody she hadn't without having to traverse across the mainland for several days to do it. Plus, maybe Sophiea would come and there'd be even more time for her to see the female.
Michael's approach would cause a happy, warm smile to form on her features, looking to her uncle as he closed in on her and then spoke up, eyes glancing towards Derya. She chuckled quietly as he pet them, but went quiet as he mentioned bringing his own things for the potluck. Drinks - that was good. She didn't know much about mixing drinks...besides smoothies, and tea, if that counted. She waited for him to finish speaking, responding to the two younger members' inquiries with his own two cents before responding to him. "That sounds good! I hadn' even thought of that. Thank you, uncle Mikey." She'd say first, clapping her front paws together in an eager manner. "I think Derya likes all the attention n' treats I give 'em." She'd joke lightly.

NOTHING'S EVER LOST FOREVER, IT'S JUST HIDING IN THE RECESS OF YOUR MIND AND WHEN YOU NEED IT, IT WILL COME TO YOU AT NIGHT. I MISS THE YELLOW. I MISS THE YELLING AND THE SHAKEDOWN. I'M NOT COMPLAINING, NO, I GOT A BETTER SET OF KNIVES NOW. I MISS MY DRUMMER, MY DEAD STEPBROTHER, AND THE PIT CROWD. AND CHUCK AND MATTY - IF THEY COULD SEE ME THEY'D BE SO PROUD.
