Caesar had made a fatal mistake in returning to The Typhoon's territory. Maybe if he had encountered anybody besides Roan at first, he would be fine. He would be able to get another successful attack off, and would probably go cackling all the way home over it. Or well... whatever he considered to be home, anyways. Unfortunately for the brightly colored male, Roan was the one that he was going to encounter first, and the soothsayer had no patience left within him. Despite being a generally grumpy person, the medic wasn't usually very angry. He wasn't usually filled with legitimate hatred for someone else, for the most part. Caesar Cipher was the exception to this rule, though. The feline had maimed and killed indiscriminately, and his recent crimes were some of the worst. Deldrach, Goldie... hell, the siamese even would've been furious about Atbash if he had known about it. He may not have known her personally, but she was still a member of an allied group, and nobody deserved Caesar's bullshit.
Roan had also been out in the jungle as Caesar approached, having been busy with gathering herbs to bring back to the temple. The first thing that tipped him off to the fact that an intruder was near was the scent. Although the Cipher no longer carried the smell of any of the other major groups on him, he still had a distinctive rotten scent. The very same one that had been on Goldie's shapeshifted form when Roan had gone to treat her. He instantly tensed up upon smelling the other, his pupils narrowing down to dangerous slits as he glanced around him. The siamese wasted little time in stashing his satchel under the roots of a nearby tree, before heaving himself upwards, into the branches above.
It only took a bit of tree-hopping before Caesar came into view, and Roan felt red-hot anger bubbling within his chest. His claws dug lightly into the branch below him, and he had to resist the urge to snarl aloud. Instead, he just waited until the other was directly beneath him, finally lunging forward once Caesar was in place. He aimed to swoop downwards onto the other's back, landing roughly on him and shoving the other's muzzle into the dirt if he was successful. It was then that he growled from the back of his throat, his claws slipping out as he spoke, "Caesar Cipher. You've made a grave fucking mistake coming back here." The medic felt no guilt or worry about the fact that he wanted to kill Caesar. After all, the other had felt no guilt when he hurt or killed countless others, so why should Roan? He fully intended to rip the eyesore limb from limb, although unfortunately, fate wouldn't be in his favor for such an event.
