A Dracula parrot... well, that certainly explained the avian's rather edgy appearance. He was in silent agreement with his mama that Derya certainly seemed like a more appealing bird, but he was admittedly a bit biased on that front. Goldie was family and his apprentice, after all, which meant that he was around Derya quite a bit more. Either way, the soothsayer didn't voice this opinion as he pressed back against his mother, muttering softly to Blackout "That's certainly an interesting name for an entire species of bird... I'm sure whoever thought of it figured they were quite clever." The draconic feline's tone was quite dry, making it a bit difficult to tell if he was joking around or not. He was, but someone who didn't know him well would probably struggle to parse that out.
Upon hearing Vayne's curious questioning, Roan's blue gaze moved over to his adoptive sister, surprised by how stunned she seemed. Still, he supposed that she had been born within The Typhoon, just as he had. It made sense that she would be curious about other groups. With his tail flicking behind him, the siamese spoke up soon afterward, "It's not too unusual for joiners to come from other groups. Although, something tells me that Blackout here didn't come from one of the other larger groups." His gaze then cut back to Blackout himself, vaguely questioning. He couldn't recall there being any mention of another major group's scent on Blackout when he had arrived. Then again, that wasn't a guarantee. It didn't take too long for a scent to fade if one stayed away from the group's territory for a while.
