[Atticus Roux]

With his name being paraded across the territory, pointed and jagged ears flattened against the back of his head. He didn't want to talk. Not after... everything. Atticus felt thrown aside and used for an unknown agenda. He wanted to truly believe that Atticus benefitted Tanglewood and risked his life for a good cause, but others thought differently and Aurum threw him aside as a result. The canine, the former Tanglewood member, felt uneasy. To hear Elsweyr's call only made a growl rumble from the back of his throat. He dropped his things out of jaws. The clatter of possessions was deafened by the shoreline, but his audible sigh was not.

Golden eyes shifted up from the floor. His weary details turned to face Elsweyr with a disgruntled expression donning his features. "I'll be fine," he murmured. "Just need to rethink my position." His tail flicked in annoyance. "I'm not exactly fond of the way my efforts were thrown aside." For someone who risked his life to save Tanglewood and saved their deputy, he thought he would have at least be met with decency. Apparently not though.

"You did nothing wrong, Elsweyr," came his reassuring tone. "Dante is at fault. Do not blame yourself for his shitfaced, druggie bullshit." One man's actions would not reflect The Pitt's intent, nor would it inflict a war between the two groups. Atticus would cease to see it.
